To tackle about the students' comfortability of learning in Saniel-Cruz National High School (SCNHS), the school's admin, headed by Jundee S. Villegas, the school principal, with the coordination of School Governance Council (SGC) and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) officials called for a second General PTA Assembly Meeting at the school's covered court on Friday, September 12.
The meeting started at exactly 1:30pm by the opening remarks of Ronel S. Blanca, PTA president, and then the checking of parents' attendance by grade level.
The meeting session that was led by the school's Guidance Councilor II, Lucita "Ma'am Thaw" Sunshine G. Balucos, RPsy, RGC, declared the strict imposition of school policy guidelines which is one of the meeting's agenda, comes after.
"Tolerating a misbehaving child is like growing a criminal child," Ma'am Thaw stated.
Followed by the message of the school principal about the strengthening of security measures of vehicles, visitor's ID, proper school uniform and ID, no issuance of pass slip (during class hours), prohibition of gadgets (during class hours), and lastly, random inspection.
Meanwhile, orientation of Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program was introduced by Evelyn A. Polancos, Teacher III.
The meeting ended with the PTA president took over the floor to discuss the PTA initiative projects and other concerns of the parents.
The General Assembly Meeting wasn't just talks and discussions, it has also a little bit of fun that entertained the parents and stayed along the programโ the raffle draw that had prices of essentials like 5kg sacks of rice, kitchenwares, and soaps.
