4700km in 6 days whirlwind trip to the north

We went to the furthest north you can drive in eastern North America and made a pit stop in to see the Arctic Ocean at James bay

The fishing was amazing but the company was even better.

Had a tire blowout on the trans-taiga trail but thankfully some workers from stopped to give us a hand changing it.

If you are an outdoorsy person this trip should be on your bucket list, but I would recommend spending as much time as possible as there are endless sights to see and fishing opportunities.

Cottage weekend was a success. Lots of fun had by all
The smallmouth bass were a bit more finicky than expected but I ended up figuring them out.
It was nice to have a weekend to chill and relax. Chilling and grilling.

Another event in the books,
From off roading to saving a turtle and bird this trip had it all.
We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The stars ended up coming out the first night. And even though it rained the second night. The new awning was a game changer for that.
Went and visited a historic log chute and did some trail riding on the way back. Ended up needing to cut some trees out of the way towards the end of the trail.
Can’t wait to see everyone again at Calabogie.

Backcountry Father’s Day camping trip
Did a total of about 1500+ meters of portaging. 3 days 2 nights.
Lots of lessons learned, and lots of fun on the way.
Bugs were interesting but they started to subside.
Looking forward to the next trip.

Killed Killarney, Conquered the Crack.
I’ve wanted to come to Killarney for a long time and it was definitely worth it. Hiking the crack was all it was “CRACKED” up to be.
The “World Famous” fish and chips were amazing.
Almost crashed a wedding to sneak a picture with the giant paddle.
And snuck out for an evening paddle.
Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend

Boys trip this weekend, river bank warriors,
Went to house for the walleye run, with the water being low and the cold front blown in made the fishing conditions tough.
Over the weekend we managed to land, 2 walleye, 1 bass, 1 catfish, 1 pike and almost landed a musky.
Fun weekend with the boys, went for a hike aswell and a fun road trip
Can’t wait for the next one.

Weekday pavement princess, weekend off-road queen 👸
Thanks again to and Barrie Thunder Classic Car Club for presenting me and the Delica with “Truck” of the show.

Opening up camp this year, what a grind
Things didn’t go as easy in years past but we managed to get most of the chores done.
Managed about 20 small walleye in less than 2 hours the first evening. All smaller fish. And a couple pike.
The next night we went out again but with the cold front moving in we managed 2 walleye each and 4-5 pike each.
Roads were the best they’ve been since I’ve been going.
Looking forward to going back

Spent my birthday in the backcountry with and in Algonquin.
Single carried the canoe thru the portage and now I want more.
Caught some dinner and grilled it up for the boys. Peeled the skin back and the fish was perfectly steamed.
Walter had an awesome time and the trip was great success.

Out with the man, the myth, the legend .lafontaine
I headed down after work and arrived in the middle of the night and stealth camped in a nearby town.
We hit one day on the lake with limited success. I caught 2 bass where Spencer and Joe both caught 3 walleye a piece.
I ended up using and finding a nice place I could safely park for the night and reorganize my setup. First time using the service and it was a last minute booking. Host was super nice and I attended a party they were having that evening. Even got a tour of the property.
The next day we hit the river. The water was basically mud and we were marking a ton a fish but they were completely turned off.
Gave it our best shot but couldn’t make it happen.
Atleast I didn’t flip my kayak this year 😂

Another check off the bucket list.
I seen this email come cross my phone to walk/run up the 1776 steps of the CN tower.
I prepared for about a month prior to the event and absolutely DESTROYED my hopes of getting under 30 minutes with 18:06 minutes.
I dug from within and absolutely killed it. I’m looking forward to the event in Toronto next year and hopefully I can raise more money and go even faster.
