Are you sidelined?

….Has 2024 been far from a year of more??

Sometimes in life we get sidelined, we can get the breathe knocked out of us …

We can be on the path pursuing our dreams and making things happen-when life happens.

An unwanted diagnosis, blind sided by divorce papers, a job loss, a death of a loved one, a relationship that is no more …or maybe even just a friendship that was once really close and has become distant…

Life hits and it doesn’t care what you have going on… it’s the common denominator and the great equalizer of all humanity.

On August 4th, our world came to a screeching halt when my dad found my mom unresponsive on the kitchen floor.

A paramedic ride to Allen and then a helicopter ride to the University of Iowa hospitals - revealed a large mass in her brain…
For three long days we didn’t know if she was going to wake up…NOTHING else mattered in those moments…

I’m thankful to report that she did wake up, she did have a successful brain surgery, and she is in active recovery at home now…

But last six weeks have been a blur, projects that I had started went by the wayside, only the necessary was given attention (Thank God -I have an amazing team)

Maybe, for you and your life, it hasn’t been a significant event but the discouragement of delay, the busyness of life, the mundane of the “normal”

For me, I have found that when life is hitting, I have to get control of the controllable’s…My attitude/response and my activities…

If, I can spend even 15 minutes a day … pushing towards a goal or something I love, it gives me energy and purpose to move through difficult.

So, If you are stuck, let today be the day you -“BEGIN AGAIN “

One step, and then another, one call then another,one mile and then another …

As thou goest Step..by step I will open the way before you! (Proverbs 4:12)

Small hinges Swing Big Doors!

Little micro commitments build one upon the other … producing significant shifts/ outcomes!

We have a little over 90 days left in 2024- keep pushing!

It can still be the year that you become more,

experience more ..

and move the needle for more in your life!
