Don't let anyone define what happiness means to you, you can do whatever makes you happy as long as it's legal to your religion and law of land.

"Contentment"

You should set a goal for your "Long Term" dreams and don't compare your goals to others, we have different set of goals and definition of happiness in life.

It doesn't matter how small or big your goals are, it should have a finish line.

Material things are infinite, it would just consume you and be more greedy if you're not contented with the goals you've just set.
