After the flood, God put the rainbow in the sky and said in Genesis 9:13: "I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth."

The flood was judgment, the rainbow was mercy. Spiritually, it means God never allows judgment to be the last word. Grace always comes after.

Noah had to build the ark before the rain came. Spiritually, that means your daily faith, prayer, and obedience is building an ark that will save you later when the storm comes. No building = no refuge when you need it.
