Shane (CEO), Joe (Community Manager), and Alec (Artist) recently attended MayhemCon 2023 in Lebanon, NH, We had a blast interacting with other convention folks, vendors, and gamers at our table (you can see it in the back left corner). Here you can see the table where Joe was running one of our adventures "Hunted in the Snow Barrens". Everyone seemed to have a great time and it was a lot of fun.

While doing a post about half-elven characters in fiction, I started thinking about the best fantasy artists and came up with another post idea. Love when that happens. Who are some of your favorite fantasy artists? I smell a top ten list coming soon for our blog!

Fun Fact: Most of the staff working for Headless Hydra Press met during grad school while we attended the Stonecoast MFA Program. While Shane began Headless Hydra, our good pal Frank Ard founded Rogue Owl Press and we are proud to share that as writers, we've created another short horror fiction anthology called Horrors of the Deep through Rogue Owl by contributing some awesome stories. Bori Brightmaker is an NPC we created recently for our Villains & Villagers Kickstarter but we plan on featuring her more regularly because she's a camp cook and will someday have a cookbook featuring her recipes. We've been super busy packing up all the Kickstarter orders for Organic Towns and Adventurer's Agency, so we haven't been around much to post but just wanted to give a quick update. We're doing well here at HHP and we just recently received around 5 FEET or more of snow over the past couple days. WHEW!

We received Organic Towns and some other things via shipment yesterday so we've been organizing all the packing lists and materials for our shipments headed out to all our backers which will take a bit but will reach everyone relatively soon.
