Kathrine Elizabeth Bishop was born in New York City, New York to Derek and Eleanor Bishop. She is the youngest daughter of a rich Manhattanite family. Kate was most like her mother Eleanor, helping people and contributing to social causes was something they both had in common. But as they say, the good die young and that’s exactly what happened to Kate’s mother while on a trip in Boulder Colorado.
Her father Derek was a great businessman who made a fortune as a publishing magnate, but he was a terrible role model.
As a child Kate saw how bad her father could be when one day she witnessed him beating the crap someone up late at night in his study. This made her curious about who her father really was and so she followed him to a meet up with a violent criminal named El Matador to buy an off market PS5 no doubt. Kate ends up getting who caught and kidnapped. El Matador held her for ransom, but Kate managed to escape. The Avengers had arrived and Kate encountered Hawkeye for the first time and He became her new role model.
Kate began training vigorously becoming an excellent archer and adept in the skills of fencing, sword fighting, self defense, and several other types of combat, (ironman, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, Nick Fury)
Kates journey from Survivor to Hero started during her older sister's wedding. The Young Avengers showed up in an attempt to save everyone, but ending up making matters worse by starting a fire and becoming hostages themselves. Kate managed to free the young Avengers
Afterwards, Kate met Cassie Lang daughter of the Avenger’s Ant man at the hospital, they decided to go to the ruins of Avengers Mansion to track down and join the young Avengers. Not long afterwards, the Mansion was attacked by Kang the Conqueror and Kate used gear from the mansion to join the fight, this gear included Mockingbird’s battle staves, the Swordsman’s Sword and belt and Hawkeye’s bow. After defeating Kang and saving the world Kate remained on the team as a permanent member officially becoming Hawkingbird. her outfit was a combination of Hawkeye and Mockingbird. soon after she joins the team, They are broken up by captain America and Ironman.
So Kate finally decides to take advantage of her first super power, “Daddy’s money and resources," She is the driving member of the team, pushing everyone to stay together and operates as the team's unofficial leader. So When one of her team mates (patriot) is injured. Kate Confronts Captain America and tells him if he had trained them, this might not have happened and told him it was best for him to help the Young Avengers by accepting them. Jessica Jones shows up to give Kate the original Hawkeye's bow and arrows with a note from Captain America addressed to Hawkeye. Jessica told Kate that the only other person to stand up to Captain America the way Kate did was Hawkeye, and that Captain America wanted her to take Clint's codename. Kate did and officially became the hero "Hawkeye". The name was available after the original Hawkeye dies in Avengers disassembled. But he returns to life thanks to the seven magic dragon balls and after a little bit of a rough patch, decides to work with Kate and train her as his protégé so now there are two Hawkeyes.
In the Marvel Avengers game, after the events of A-Day Kate and Hawkeye were working together on a mission to find Nick Fury and stumble upon AIMs Tachyon project. When Clint disappears Kate goes on her own to complete the mission and find Barton. That’s when she runs into the Avengers. After helping them capture an AIM Scientist, Kate becomes an official member of the Avengers and the team goes looking for Barton and to find out what Aims up to. Even though she is one of the youngest and newest members of the Avengers, She talks the talk and walks the walk with a wide assortment of weapons and gadgets that she uses to help the Avengers take down AIM.
Playing With Kate as Hawkeye is a ton of fun as she brings a lot of versatility and compatibility to the team
She has the weapon range and versatility of Iron man slightly less
The movement speed and athleticism of black widow, slightly more
And the combat prowess of Captain America minus the shield
