There are so many inspiring, empowering women in this world, but Ruth Bader Ginsburg is truly an ICON! Her strength in advocacy broke so many barriers for women. She is the 2nd woman to serve on The Supreme Court. I would have loved to see her on the Miss America stage!!

The countdown to the crown is getting real!! Yesterday, I got to be with all of the Miss and Teen contestants for Winter Workshop. Words cannot express how excited I am for Miss Missouri and the development of such an amazing sisterhood. 🫶🏻

Another point of the crown represents SCHOLARSHIP! This evening I was inducted into Tau Sigma National honor society for transfer students. This means that I am in the top 20% of transfer students at Mizzou! I am so thankful for the scholarships from the Miss America Organization that supports me on my educational journey!
