Prayer to the Three Hearts✨

Jesus, Mary, Joseph.
Heart of Jesus, I adore Thee.
Heart of Mary, I implore thee.
Heart of Joseph, pure and just,
In these three Hearts, I place my trust.

🫶 St. John Eudes:
“O Heart all loveable and all loving of my Saviour, be the Heart of my heart, the Soul of my soul, the Spirit of my spirit, the Life of my life and the sole principle of all my thoughts, words and actions, of all the faculties of my soul and of all my senses, both interior and exterior. Amen.”

🫶 St. Bernard:
“In the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I trust. Look to the Star, call upon Mary! In danger, in difficulty or in doubt, think of Mary, call upon Mary. Keep her name on your lips, never let it pass out of your heart.”

🫶 Pope Leo XIII:
“In Joseph... heads of the household are blessed with the unsurpassed model of fatherly watchfulness and care.”

“Faith lifts the soul. Hope supports it. Experience says it must. And love says let it be!” -St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ~ Mark 11:22-24

Zechariah his father, filled with the Holy Spirit, prophesied, saying:
    “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel;
        for he has come to his people and set them free.
    He has raised up for us a mighty Savior,
        born of the house of his servant David.
    Through his prophets he promised of old
        that he would save us from our enemies,
        from the hands of all who hate us.
    He promised to show mercy to our fathers
        and to remember his holy covenant.
    This was the oath he swore to our father Abraham:
        to set us free from the hand of our enemies,
        free to worship him without fear,
        holy and righteous in his sight
            all the days of our life.
    You, my child, shall be called the prophet of the Most High,
        for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way,
        to give his people knowledge of salvation
        by the forgiveness of their sins.
    In the tender compassion of our God
        the dawn from on high shall break upon us,
        to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death,
        and to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Lk 1:67-79

When, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her.
Matthew 1-20

Dear Jesus, As we travel with Mary and Joseph, teach us how to follow you with all our heart. Show us what you are calling us to become. Amen.

The endurance of darkness is the preparation for great light.” -St. John of the Cross
How do I face the desolate or difficult moments of my faith journey, or of this Advent? Do I turn to Jesus for grace and strength, and persevere? Or do I allow the burdens and my failings to stop me in my journey? Ask Jesus for the grace to continue, or to start again. Ask Him to help you, in the hard moments you will face on your journey to the joy of Christmas, and longer term, on your journey towards Heaven.

“Am I not here, I, who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need anything more? Let nothing else worry you, disturb you.” – words of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego on Mount Tepeyac in 1531.

HAPPY FEAST OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE!

“Go, then to Joseph, and do all that he shall say to you;
Go to Joseph, and obey him as Jesus and Mary obeyed him;
Go to Joseph, and speak to him as they spoke to him;
Go to Joseph, and consult him as they consulted him;
Go to Joseph, and honour him as they honoured him;Go to Joseph, and be grateful to him as they were grateful to him;
Go to Joseph, and love him, as they love him still.” – St. Alphonsus Liguori

Saint Joseph was a man of action, obeying God’s will for him in the ordinary duties of daily life.  He faithfully and tenderly loved, protected and provided for the Child Jesus and the Virgin Mary.

Pray that St. Joseph will be our guide this Advent and lead us to the House of Bread where we can encounter Jesus.

And he came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!”
Luke 1:28

Happy Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary!!

To become the mother of the Savior, Mary “was enriched by God with gifts appropriate to such a role.” The angel Gabriel at the moment of the annunciation salutes her as “full of grace.” In fact, in order for Mary to be able to give the free assent of her faith to the announcement of her vocation, it was necessary that she be wholly borne by God’s grace.Through the centuries the Church has become ever more aware that Mary, “full of grace” through God, was redeemed from the moment of her conception. That is what the dogma of the Immaculate Conception confesses, as Pope Pius IX proclaimed in 1854:The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin. (CCC 490-491)

Sing to the Lord a new song for He has done marvelous deeds.” ~Psalms 98:1

It is good to remind yourself of all the wonderful things God has done for you. Take time to thank the Lord for all His blessings today, this year, and throughout your life. Thank Him for all He has done throughout salvation history. Let your heart pour out to Him with a fresh outpouring of loving gratitude.

John the Baptist appeared, preaching in the desert of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” Matthew 3:1–2
The words of St. John the Baptist apply to me as well! How can I turn from my sinful ways, and my wrong ways of thinking? Do an examination of conscience and ask the Lord to help you this Advent to turn from your sins, to His love, to His

I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.” John 6:51
Jesus wants to give you life! He comes under the appearance of bread every day to nourish you. How often do I receive Jesus with love in the Holy Eucharist?
Try to attend weekday Mass in addition to Sunday Mass, at least a few times this Advent, and receive Him with love.💜

And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked on the humble state of his servant. Luke 1:46-48
This is the beginning of the Canticle of Mary. Read and pray this prayer with your Heavenly Mother (Luke 1:46-55). Give praise to God with Her for all that He has done!

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.” John 1:29

John the Baptist recognized Jesus as the Lamb of God. Jesus came into the world and laid down His life to save you and bring you to Heaven. What sacrifices can I make, for Him who gave His life for me? Choose a sacrifice that you can make consistently this Advent, out of love for Him.💝

Blessed are all who wait for the Lord.”
Is 30:18

Advent is a season of expectant waiting and active preparation. What do I want to receive from Jesus this Advent? Offer all this to the Lord with a heart that joyfully waits for Him.

“Nothing is so strong as gentleness; nothing is so gentle as real strength.”

“Do not wish to be anything but what you are, and try to be that perfectly.”

“We all have a vocation. We believe that God has placed us in this life to fill a special need that no one else can accomplish.”

“Everyone of us needs half an hour of prayer each day, except when we are busy – then we need an hour.”

I will declare all your wondrous deeds.
I will delight and rejoice in you;
I will sing hymns to your name, Most High.
When my enemies turn back,
they stumble and perish before you.
For you upheld my right and my cause,
seated on your throne, judging justly.
You rebuked the nations, you destroyed the wicked;
their name you blotted out for all time.a
The enemies have been ruined forever;
you destroyed their cities;
their memory has perished.
The LORD rules forever,
has set up his throne for judgment.
It is he who judges the world with justice,b
who judges the peoples with fairness.
The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
Those who know your name trust in you;
you never forsake those who seek you, LORD.
