I don't know how I should feel..

On a CEDH tournament post game talk:

Me: I think you should have eliminated player B first (instead of me), he had a stronger board.

Player A: yes, but you are the stronger player. So...

MTG SEA Championships Malaysia was fun.
Joined the Modern Open on day 3 and Finished 32nd.

If you were following my journey, you would know that I only started playing modern that weekend, let alone pick up titan again 😆

With the changes in the meta and combo lines of the deck I had my hands full.

7 round Swiss results:

R1: Eldrazi Ramp 🥬🥬
R2: UR prowess 🤮🤮
R3: Eldrazi Ramp 🤮🥬
R4: Orzhov Ephimirate 🥬🥬
R5: Boros Energy 🥬🤮🤮
R6: Dimir Mill 🤮🥬🥬
R7: RG Hollow-Vengevines 🤮🥬🥬

Lost only twice:
UR Prowess - didn't draw threats / land was late.
Boros energy - misplay caused by an opponent's creature ability.

Memorable momment:
R7 G3 against jeo - he was able to pull a god-hand, with turn 2 hollow ones and vengevines on the play. I only had a land and amulet in play.

Turn 2: I dropped a land - green sun's for arboreal grazer - played lotus field sac'd the other 2 lands - cast spelunking drew my second boseiju and played it. Pass

Turn 3: Jeo dropped a 3rd land exerted - cast a meko with haste and swing - Grazzer blocks venge and takes 9 bringing me to 7 [ i took 4 on turn 2 with venge ]. Pass

I dropped UG bounce land, float mana bring boseiju back to hand cast titan - Search for crumbling vistage and RG bounce land - Return crumbling vistage to hand and with the mana floating from vintage biseiju 1 of the hollows. Pass

Turn 4: Jeo drops a land - cast phoenix and swing - titan blocks venge then I boseiju the last hollow, i take 3 down to 4. Pass

I attack with titan search bojuka bog and mirror pool. Jeo takes damage and exiled graveyard - 2nd main drop crumbling, use mana and lotus to activate mirror pool Copy titan - search for ug bounce land and otawara - bounce otawara. Pass

Turn 5: Jeo f.looting and grudges my amulet - swings with phoenix that i otawara'd. Pass

I then swing with 2 titans search 4 lands [2 vintage, lotus field, RG pump land] - sinks my mana into the pump +17, lethal.

This tournament was top notch. Location was great, room temperature is just right, coffee was black, water was free, hotel was close to the venue, food were all great.

10/10 would do it again
