This afternoon I received a text message from Kylee Monteiro's sister Faith. She shared with me Kylee's official discharge form from Bethesda House a shelter that Kylee was staying at for just a short time before her tragic death. As you can see it's both signed by Kylee and the shelter’s owner, Missy Porter. Faith gave full permission to share it.

The form shows Kylee was expelled for one reason: falling asleep after returning from the hospital at 6:00 a.m. She had suffered a serious pregnancy-related scare, was brought there by Bethesda’s own transport, and came back exhausted. Missing a morning meeting was enough to end her stay.

No compassion. No understanding. No regard for her health or her unborn child. Bethesda House is suppose to be an organization "Providing a temporary home that is safe and nurturing for young mothers, either pregnant or parenting their baby in Massachusetts."

Kylee had only been there three weeks, trying to follow the rules while pregnant and vulnerable. Instead of support, she was discarded. When questioned, Porter told Channel 10 News: “This is not a domestic violence shelter.” But that doesn’t excuse throwing out a pregnant woman for resting after a hospital visit.

Kylee didn’t “break the rules.” She was punished for being human.

Now Faith is speaking out, not just for Kylee, but to protect other women from the same fate in Bethesda House. Her message is clear: Kylee’s life mattered, and Bethesda House actions are unacceptable!

The newly bearded former Connecticut State Police sergeant Bryan J. Fahey, the man accused of spitting in the face of YouTube activist SeanPaul Reyes of Long Island Audit, was back in court Thursday.

Fahey, 53, faces a disorderly conduct charge, a misdemeanor punishable by up to three months in jail and a $500 fine. His next court date is set for October 9th.

But let’s be clear: hiding behind a beard and a pair of glasses won’t change the man you really are. Somebody get this guy a wig!

Francis Gigliotti’s Death Ruled a Homicide

The death of Francis Gigliotti from Haverhill, Massachusetts, who died after being restrained by police outside a local restaurant in July, has officially been ruled a homicide, prosecutors announced Friday. Gigliotti passed away on July 11th.

I first posted about the incident on July 13th, after finding and uploading pedestrian-shot footage of the encounter on X. Following that, I filed a FOIA request on July 14th for the police report and any available bodycam footage. Unfortunately, to my ignorance I later discovered like most Massachusetts cities and towns that the Haverhill Police Department does not use bodycams, and they declined to release the police report at the time, citing an active investigation (see attached screenshots).

I also covered Gigliotti’s case during my show, The Sunday 617, that same week. That episode focused on highlighting Massachusetts cases that deserve more public attention. During the show, I stated that I could not draw any conclusions about Gigliotti’s death without further evidence.

A lot of the work I do behind the scenes isn’t posted publicly until I have solid information. I’ve always remained open to learning more about this case and would’ve welcomed anyone onto my show to provide insight or additional context.

Some have publicly claimed I “never followed up.” While I may not have dedicated an entire series to this case, but I did address it and remained open to any developments. I think this is an important time for all of us to step back, gather facts, listen and learn, rather than rush to judgment or accusations.

I don’t hold grudges but in my defense I wanted to correct the record. B ~

On August 5th, midway through a Groton, CT council meeting, Mayor Rachael Franco addressed the room as Sean from Long Island Audit and other citizens protested Sean’s unlawful July 11th arrest following his encounter with Brian “Coptuah” Fahey. During that meeting, Mayor Franco claimed Councilwoman Rusk had found spit on her chair before sitting down. I knew this was a bu****it claim so I FOIA the chamber's security footage to review.

Since obtaining and reviewing the chamber’s security footage, it proves both the Mayor’s statement and Rusk’s claim were a lie. At no time did Sean or anyone from his group enter the secured area—or spit on any chair. The only people who crossed into that section were a Groton police officer and Town Manager John Burt before the meeting started.

The Mayor and Councilwomen Rusk owe the world an explanation and apology for their lies.
