In S4E5, “Medium Heat w/ Chef Awo,” reminded me that I promised her a dessert. She also invited me over so I could learn how she makes her show-stopping jollof rice. I made good on my promise and learned so much. Seasoning combinations, when to use fresh vs canned tomatoes, and that you can cook rice faster if you finish it in a sheet pan. The rice was delicious. My tastebuds were in heaven. My tiramisu was aight.
