Toto LGC sets up Committee on Farmers/Herders conflicts.

Chairman, Toto local government council, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has constituted a 25 member committee to resolve the frequent Farmers/Herders clashes.

A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the Chairman on Media and publicity, Yahaya Idris Toto, said the Committee will be inaugurated tomorrow Monday, July 10.

All the committee members are hereby invited to present themselves for the inauguration by 10.00 a. prompt.

According to the statement, the committee is Chaired by Alhaji Suleiman Abdullahi, SSA Conflict Resolution, the Local Government Director of personnel Management, Muhammed Odaudu, will serve as the Secretary.

Condolence message from the Chairman Toto LGC to the Executive Governor Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule over the death of his Son.

I, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, the Executive Chairman, Toto Local Government Council, on behalf of the Legislative Council, Traditional Rulers, the entire citizens of Toto Local Government Area both at home and in diaspora, mourn with grieve the sudden death of your lovely Son, Hassan.

We are shaken to the marrows, the sad effects of losing children by parents, who are also bearing responsibility of other children and the entire citizens of Nasarawa State.

As we grieve over the death of Hassan, we will continue to pray to the almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest and Al Jannat Fidaus.

We pray to Allah to give the Parents, the immediate family and the entire Nasarawa State, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Your Excellency, death is a necessary end for all the living mortals created by God and therefore is expected to answer His call any time He wishes, age not withstanding.

I wish to appeal to you to be stronger in your resolve to emancipate the people of the State, despite God's wish to test your faith by the death of your lovely Son Hassan.

May the Almighty Allah continue to lead and guide you appropriately in handling the affairs of the state, especially with the overwhelming support from all over the nooks and crannies of the state.

Your Excellency, please accept our collective sympathy and count on our support, commitment and unflinching loyalty to you and the government.
