Such a great time picking over the Midwest with the best people! We ended up covering a little over 14 miles in 3 days, and wrapped the trip up with 62 sheds!

By far the biggest coyote we have caught so far this season. This big male was barely grabbed by one toe so we had to get our pictures finished fast. This big dude was mad, and had no plans on backing down any when approached. 1/28/2025

This beautiful female fell to a trench set on this rock / dirt mound. When scouting this farm prior, we loved this location knowing coyotes would use this mound to be able to overlook the large field. 1/23/2025

Our hunt from the final weekend of the 2024 season is live! I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did making it. I am so excited to chase these birds again! Make sure you’re subscribed while you are there, two more videos coming soon!

We started the morning locating this tom on the roost, but he decided to pitch to the field we could not see from our original position. We decided to get up...

The first Bobcat of the season this ole girl found herself in a cubby set, and couldn’t resist herself. Im having a blast with getting going trapping this year, we have 18/20 sets in the ground currently! It has been a slower start battling snow trapping the mountains around 3500/3800ft elevation with the snow holding around for long periods of time, and many many raccoons plugging up coyote sets, but with that said we are finally getting the hang of trapping! Hopefully the first of many predators! 12/20/2024.

Some special pictures from our early season Nebraska trip, these images were added to a draft and accidentally forgotten. We hunted hard while truck camping for 10 days in the 90 degree Nebraska heat! This trip was a blast, but most definetly one of our toughest hunts. When we got there the beans were green, but the corn had already turned dry and the deer had transitioned solely to the corn for bed and food. We learned so much on this trip tracking bucks, scouting, glassing, and learning new terrain. Although we came home empty handed some great memories were made burning boot leather, and enjoying the grind! 9/1/2024

What a year it has been! As many of you know, in June of this year I moved to Iowa to chase my dreams of hunting the Midwest and working inside this amazing industry. It has been an absolute blast with so many unbelievable opportunities that I have been given I can’t wait to see what the future holds! With that being said it has made for VERY little hunting time without having my Iowa residence finalized for this hunting season. I was fortunate enough to hunt some Missouri Public land early season and have some truly remarkable hunts, unfortunately I only had 1 encounter with my target that was quickly blown up by another hunter. I was able to pass multiple deer over 130” and learn so much in my short time hunting. With guiding season starting October 15th I haven’t had the chance to hunt for myself much at all. The day before harvesting this buck I flew home to VA for 6 days to spend some much needed time with the family for Thanksgiving.

Now, let’s get into the hunt.

11•27•24 After arriving home from the airport at midnight, Ty and I decided to hunt together at our home farm this morning just to spend some time in the woods and catch up. Around 10:45 we decided to climb down and take a short stroll around the farm still hunting so I could see the effects of hurricane Helene. As we came around one of the small hayfields glassing down into a freshly made hurricane clear cut we spotted this buck locked down with a doe. At first glance we knew this was one of the biggest deer we have seen on our little farm. After a few seconds of glassing and a well placed 80 yard shot the rest was history! I couldn’t be happier to harvest this buck off of my home farm with my best friend by my side. Memories like these will forever outweigh any trophy. For now, I’ll be running and gunning these mountains trying to fill my 2nd buck tag. Headed back to the land of the giants in 4 days to get back to the grind!
