Let's continue our tour of Custer, Idaho. If you are ever up near here, this is an awesome little ghost town to visit.

This little Cabin is the Brockman Cabin. It was abandoned before being completed. It was moved to a mining claim near Boot Hill Cemetery in 1958. The remains of the structure was restored and donated to the Friends of Custer museum and moved back to it's original location in Custer.

IT'S THROW BACK THURSDAY!
Here is a little video we did in Williams Arizona more than a year ago. The Keyhole Sink Trail, nestled in the Kaibab National Forest near Williams, Arizona, offers a unique blend of natural beauty and ancient history. This easy-to-hike trail leads to a scenic box canyon where the gray volcanic walls are adorned with petroglyphs created roughly 1,000 years ago by the Cohonina people. These ancient Puebloans, believed to be ancestors of today's Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni tribes, left their mark on the canyon, offering a glimpse into their lives and beliefs.

Happy Thursday!
This Saloon is the Empire Saloon in Custer, a ghost town in Idaho. It was moved later on and converted into the office and home of Dr. Charles Kirtley. He moved to Custer in 1903 and married Josie Malm in 1907. They lived here until 1910. This building was restored in 1998 and is now the gift shop.

Custer, Idaho, is a well-preserved ghost town located in Custer County, within the Salmon-Challis National Forest. It was once a bustling mining town, established in 1879, but declined after the gold and silver mines played out. Today, it's a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a glimpse into Idaho's mining past.

My Baby Girl turned 40 today!!

It was a warm eventful day, that day in August 1985. They prepped me for surgery. The IV's, the nurses, the doctors, the consultations. And then they soon wheeled me into the dark cold operating room with that one large light looking down on me. Monitors everywhere, nurses busy around me. They straped my arms down and told me goodnight.

I soon found myself waking up in the recovery room and I heard these words, "Congratulations on your Baby Girl!"

That Baby girl is still my Baby girl and always will be.

She has grown into this beautiful women with two daughters of her own. Although she has been through a lot and doesn't see it, she is strong and confident and an inspiration to many, including me. I am proud to be her Momma.

So the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS Baby Girl! And from one Momma to another, take in every moment of every day, because time goes by way to fast.

I love you more than you realize ♡
