Have you heard of face mapping? Ancient Chinese healers were known for their accuracy in detecting any disease by reading the face, and face mapping was the method they used. Their theories behind this technique? 1. All organs are interconnected. If one isn’t working properly it affects them all. 2. If the skin, our largest organ is not healthy, there are other issues going on. 3. Recall the adage, ‘the eyes are the windows to your soul’? They are, in fact, the windows. Our internal physiological and psychological conditions are always reflected in the face. This facial mapping system has a degree of influence over both the cardiovascular and nervous systems. A HUGE Victory!!! In an historical announcement the South Korean government has stated that before the end of this year, it will introduce a bill to ban the dog meat industry, which farms and kills up to ONE MILLION dogs each year for human consumption. Once legislation is passed, which is a three-year phase out period, the ban would come into effect in 2027. Because of education in animal welfare, the dog meat trade has dwindled yet MORE needs to be done globally. Let’s end this horror. And the pups in this post? Each of these bundles wrapped in fur are rescues from the South Korean dog meat trade, saved by Humane Society Int’l, and photographed by the amazing eye of Sophie Gamand. As a follow up from the previous post about skin, our dynamic living shield and largest organ, where do chemicals absorbed through the dermis layers go? They are absorbed amass as fat reserves. Fat storage often is perceived as reservoirs of excess energy, but they are a sanctuary for a trove of chemicals. The body’s defense is to store these intruders as fat, which fosters a repository for a clandestine chemical arsenal. Think of dis-ease. Our bodies signal that it is in distress, trouble. The understanding of the ramifications of these compounds in our fat reserves is pivotal in safeguarding our health. That’s why we need to go back to the basics. We are what we absorb, and we what we eat. Time to go back to the basics. Clean. Organic. Pure foods. Fruits, nuts, grains, and vegetables. The way it was intended.
