Is Singapore Airlines’ Famous Lobster Thermidor Worth Booking? 🦞✈️
One of the most talked-about Book the Cook options on Singapore Airlines Business Class is the Lobster Thermidor. I’d always skipped it after seeing mixed reviews in frequent flyer groups, but on my red-eye to Istanbul I finally gave it a try.
Starter was a light tuna salad, main was the lobster, and dessert was a special SG60 cake (green, probably pandan — part of their anniversary menu).
Verdict? It was okay. Not mind-blowing, but not bad either. Remember, taste buds really do change at 35,000 feet, what’s bland up here might taste totally different on the ground.
Would you risk pre-ordering lobster on your next flight, or play it safe with something else❓
