Here's my hot take on the WVU vs Iowa State game from last night...

[Pros]

1.) the first possession of WVU having the ball we score on our first drive. Very solid, moving the ball around having Garrett Greene make plays more with his legs then to throwing. Solid runs by the Rbs, all around a very impressive good first drive.

2.) I see Kole Taylor our TE stepped up to the plate and made some great plays. Wr Hudson Clement had a pretty decent good game. Now the one receiver that I feel should get more reps and playing time is WR Traylon Ray, the guy can make cuts and routes so easily to get great separation from the defenders

Now the [Cons]

1.) The penalties... 7 (47). Gave the ball over Twice ...
Turnovers an penalties hurts a team chances to win the game.

2.) Game plan wasn't working out for WVU in the second half. Idk what was said to them during halftime but it definitely didn't help out at all. Felt like they definitely lost momentum when the missed kick happened in the first half...

3.) Defense.... Almost 400 yards of total offense, not acceptable.

**Overall View**

All these mistakes are on the coaches (Mainly the HC fault) and it doesn't make it any better on the team when the Head Coach Neal Brown has made an excuse for every game lost. Now he's thinking about a QB change.. like really????

I'm a WVU fan from our losing days to our glory days but this team as long as Neal Brown is the Head Coach of the team, the team won't get far. WVU haven't been ranked since 2018. Ever since HC Neal Brown took over the HC back in 2019 the team has been going downwards. "Trust the Climb"... More like "Dust the Limbs" (Yeah I made that saying up don't @ me lol)

But overall the team from last night game against Iowa State lost its identity very quickly. Should of done more option plays where QB Garrett Greene ran with the ball more it would put the defense on the edge of their seats.

Defense needs to cause less penalties (But again all that is on the coaches fault in hand. Especially you Neal Brown)...
