SINGAPORE’S FIRST-EVER CULINARY “CIRCULAR CAMPUS” IN DEMPSEY HILL! 🌴

𝗔𝗜𝗥 has to be one of the biggest openings in Singapore for the year, with a restaurant that is helmed by Amass’ chef-owner Matthew Orlando and the World’s Best Pastry Chef Will Goldfarb. This restaurant is also by far the closest to Bali we can ever be in Singapore. With the co-founder of running the space, we can clearly see where it got its inspiration from, both in design and menu aspects. 🌊

When we arrived, we were stunned just by the size alone - since when did we have this much land for such a large-scale project? The huge space is not just for show; AIR is designed to be the country’s first culinary “circular campus” with its own research facility, cooking studio for masterclasses, and even a vegetable farm managed by . 🌱

They’re currently open for dinner service only, with a focus on sustainability. The meal started out with the 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 and the 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱, both of which truly nailed the brief, leaving us excited for what’s to come. 👏🏻

We decided on the 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 which is portioned out for two, using literally the entire fish with minimal wastage. The bones were grounded into a crispy lavash, while the flesh from the head was painstakingly extracted and smoked into a fish rillette. Of course there’s also the fillet basted in what we think is the best butter sauce we ever had! 🧈

THIS CAFÉ IN BANGKOK HAS UNIQUE BIRD NEST-SHAPED SEATS! 🪹

Located in Bang Waek district which is on the outskirts of Bangkok, 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗮𝗲𝗹 is a café that has some of the most unique interior design we’ve seen in a coffeehouse. 🌲

Inspired by the woodlands in America, this café is built using wooden carvings with suspended booth seats on the second floor. But it isn’t any ordinary seat; it’s shaped to look like a bird’s nest atop the canopy, supported by a single wooden column. If you don’t have a paralysing fear of heights, this seat serves as a great vantage point while enjoying your meal. 🦅

They specialise in bakes, with choices like 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁 and the 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁. There’s even a dessert that looks like an apple, called 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 (duh). There’s also a 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲 which caught our attention, but tasted just like an ordinary caramel frappe. Everything is pretty decent, but rather expensive considering Thailand’s standards. But after seeing the space, it’s no surprise that their offerings would come with a hefty pricetag. 👏🏻

WE VISITED THE VIRAL FLOWER GARDEN IN CHIANG MAI! 🌸

You might have seen a couple of viral videos on Instagram of a flower farm in Thailand surrounded by thick cloud beds! We found where that farm is, so you don’t have to. 😉

Up in the mountains in Chiang Mai, this flower farm is called 𝗬𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 and it’s one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It can be a little tough to get to this place, as the road is really steep. There’s a small admission fee upon arrival of around ฿40.

The best time to come to the flower garden is during the rainy season in late October. This is when the clouds are dense and will form a cloud bed up in the mountains for that dreamy look! ☁️

RALPH’S COFFEE OPENS SECOND OUTLET IN SHAW CENTRE! 🏇🏻

Following the successful opening of their first outlet in Marina Bay Sands, 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗵’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗲 has opened another outlet in their shop at Shaw Centre. Following the same concept, the cafe is painted in the signature shade of green with a retro European-style and the iconic teddy bear mascot. The space is also linked with the actual retail store as well as an entrance from the outside. 👕

For a coffee shop opened by a retail brand, it’s pretty impressive for them to put in so much effort into the entire concept, with their own unique coffee blends and bakes. We got the 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲 which is a little too crumbly, but has a really nice sweetness. The 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 was surprisingly decent, with a good body and balanced taste. Only issue we have with the whole menu is that everything is crazy expensive, with a slice of their chocolate cake being $14. You can get a main dish for that price in some other cafes. 🍰

THIS BOUTIQUE HOTEL HAS THE BEST MOUNTAIN VIEW IN THAILAND! 🏔

When we were driving up north from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai, we decided to do a stopover in this viral boutique hotel we found online. 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝘂 has some of the best hotel views we’ve ever seen, overlooking the mountain valley in Doi Chang. 🥰

The room comes with a balcony that has our own whirlpool bath pool and daybed, where everybody would take their photos at with the most picturesque background. The room even comes fitted with your own bathtub and dining table, so there’s more than enough space for comfort. Although it can get pretty cold at night, the rooms are still air-conditioned. 🌘

A night here will set you back by around ฿8,500, which is worth the price especially with a view like this. The only downside to this place is how secluded it is, but they have got their own restaurant for meals and minimart. For dinner, you can choose between a mookata or hotpot set meal. 🍽

THIS HOTEL HAS ONE OF THE BEST ROOFTOP INFINITY POOLS IN THE CITY! 🇹🇭

to our Thailand trip last year, we stayed in one of the most luxurious hotel experiences in Bangkok. 𝟭𝟯𝟳 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 & 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 is a luxury hotel in the heart of Bangkok that has one of the most amazing rooftop infinity pools in the city.

We stayed in the 𝗔𝘆𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 which comes with a plethora of service offerings and facilities, some of which include a personal butler service, complimentary sundowner drinks etc. Not just that, the suite itself is at a whopping 95 sqm. with a balcony, Maxi Bar and walk-in wardrobe. 🍷

But what really attracted us is the 18-metre rooftop infinity pool on the 35th floor which is also the highest in the city. Swimming under the clear open sky hits different. Not just that, the pool is also open 24/7, so you can avoid the crowds and come by the pool at anytime you like. 🏊

WE VISITED A 400-YEAR JAPANESE POST TOWN FROM THE EDO PERIOD! 🏯

This was our first time in Nagano, and aside from snowboarding in Hakuba, we heard that there’s a special old town somewhere down south from the city. 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗶-𝗷𝘂𝗸𝘂 is Japan’s most well-preserved post town that dated back from the Edo period, and is still operational today. It is also the wealthiest back then as it marks the halfway point for travelers who journeyed between Kyoto and Edo (Tokyo). 🎎

It is also sometimes referred to as “Narai of a Thousand Houses”, as the houses stretch on much longer than any other similar towns. Within the town, you can find two former residences that are now open to the public, while the others house souvenir shops, restaurants and minshuku. Do make sure to try their soba, which apparently is a specialty in Narai. We came here during late December but turns out it wasn’t the best time with most of the shops closed for the holidays. We would advise coming down earlier in the morning during summer period on a weekend for a more lively experience. 🇯🇵

HOTEL ROOM WITH OUR OWN SWIMMING POOL INSIDE! 🌊

Pattaya is renowned for their beach resorts and a short getaway from the city life. One resort in Pattaya caught our attention for their in-room swimming pool! 🏊
anan.pattaya is a 30-minute drive away from the main city area, but its luxurious facilities and rooms are more than enough to get people to stay in all-day. Although they have villas as well, the Ocean Suite Skypool is our top choice with a high-rise view overlooking the coast, along with your own private pool. ☁️

For facilities, they have a double-decker pool which comes with a waterslide! There are also water sports equipment for guests to rent. At sunset, do make it a point to visit their rooftop bar 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗻, which has these cushion “lily pads” for guests to sit on as they enjoy the view. 🌖

HIDDEN ALL-WHITE MINIMALIST LUXURY CAFÉ IN THAILAND! ⚪

The next time you’re bored of the usual programming in Bangkok, you guys can consider heading out to Nakhon Pathom. You’ll be surprised by what you can find in the outskirts, such as this all-white minimalist café-restaurant called 𝗠𝗼𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝗼 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲. 🤩

This hidden café is right beside a river with an aesthetic curved wooden bridge that leads towards the entrance. This place definitely reminded us of the cafés we found in Pohang, S. Korea last year. Walking along the bridge really feels like the modern-day version of a fairytale! 🧚

In the evening, the sunset is in full view, enhancing its beauty even further. There’s a restaurant concept within the same compound, but we decided to try their bakes instead. The 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝗴 is their signature here, which is actually just a croissant shaped in a log; nothing stood out to us in particular. The 𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 is nicely-balanced, but can come across as sage bet with a dark chocolatey taste. 🍫

Lovely fit from , love their unique design style! Definitely a brand to take note of! 👍🏻

COTTAGE-THEMED SPECIALTY CAFE WITH AN INCREDIBLE MOUNTAIN VIEW! 🏡

Back again with yet another Kintamani update! This time, it's a cottage-themed cafe called 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲, which also means "mountainous" in Spanish. The cafe is certainly befitting of the name, with stunning views of the Balinese mountains afar. ⛰

The main highlight of this location got to be the cottage-shaped structure with full-length glass panels to allow the morning sunlight to shine through, making the whole space look magical. This is also one of the few cafes in Bali that we found actual specialty cafe with V60 brews and special single-origin beans from international coffee roasters. ☕️

We tried the 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹, which was decent but nothing really special. Head downstairs for their open-air dining area with a hanging net bed in the middle for photos. If you come here during mid-year, you might even get a chance to catch the floating clouds during sunrise, making it seem like you are laying down on a bed of clouds. ☁️

NATURE-INSPIRED MODERN CONTEMPORARY RESTAURANT IN KINTAMANI! 🪨

Along the stretch of cafes and restaurants in Kintamani, there is one that stood out from the rest due to its unique decor. 𝗢𝗸𝘂𝘁𝗮, which also means "rock", is a modern contemporary restaurant high up the mountains that is inspired by the wonders of Mother Nature. ⛰

The space is completely open with pillars that are carved to look like cavern walls, and coarse debris that cover the ground. It's best to come here during Golden Hour when the warm sunlight pours through the dining area. The menu features a mix of classic Western dishes with traditional Indonesian delights.

We had the 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 which the noodles is nicely seasoned but the chicken is kinda dry. The 𝗟𝗼𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗰 & 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 is more creamy than cheesy, which makes it well-balanced. The lobster is not exactly the freshest, but decent. They don't serve alcohol here, but the mocktails are all refreshingly good and interesting.

OUR REVIEW ON ONE OF THE LARGEST CRUISE SHIPS IN ASIA PACIFIC! 🎉

As a Millennial couple, we often heard that cruise ships are boring and only for the elder folks or families. But we decided to try it for ourselves by booking a Palace Suite for the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 back in October, and we were so glad that we took the leap of faith! 👏🏻

Turns out the whole cruise journey wasn't as boring as we thought it would be! There were just so many things to do here, with activities like rock climbing, cage soccer, foam parties and more. We were expecting our rooms to be like those mini cabins we see in movies, but turns out it was almost like a 5-star hotel room on land. ⭐️

In our opinion, if it’s within your budget, do consider getting the Palace suites, as there’s a ton of benefits that come with the Palace status. We made a video on it before, so do check it out!

TROPICAL-THEMED RESTAURANT WITH “AUSTRALASIAN” CUISINE! 🌴🍻

Opened by the same team behind and , 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮 is their brand new concept that is inspired by the tropics. Our first reaction to the space was just how huge it is, spanning 5000-square-foot with a lawn and dipping pool. 🌊

The space is clearly more than just a restaurant! We’re not too sure yet, but we bet the space is perfect for holding events in future such as day club weekends or an outdoor yoga session. There’s even live entertainment that rotates every night! 🧘‍♀️

The food here is curated by Head Chef Jayd Kitt from Australia, combining both Australian and Asian cuisine. The 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻 is nice and fresh, but price point is steep for its portion. The 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝘀 has the sweetness of Blue Swimmer crab and the wasabi adds a unique flavour combi, but we would like it better if the eggs are creamier. The 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮 is refreshingly good and cute-looking as well! 🍳

has done it again with the second outlet of their Greek concept É𝗹𝗮, serving Muslim-friendly Mediterranean cuisine. Nicknamed “The Little Lost Greek Place, the restaurant is inspired by the concept of communal dining with vibrant flavours. 😌

Their new outlet is a complete upgrade from the one in Bukit Batok, with a fresh modern decor. We love the cosy and homely vibes of the space inspired by the taverns in Greece. For the menu, they focus on Mediterranean fare, so you can expect dishes like traditional Greek dips and Mezedes.

We tried the 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, which is the perfect dish for sharing among a group. There’s a wide variety of meats, all of which are cooked perfectly for that juicy taste. The É𝗹𝗮 𝗘𝗴𝗴𝘀 is not only presentable, but tasty as well. 🍳

NEW FLORAL-THEMED WOODFIRE RESTAURANT CONCEPT! 🥀🔥

Nestled along North Canal Road is the latest concept by the renowned called 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿. This restaurant follows the recent opening of their sister concept in Orchard, but has an entirely different menu setting. 🌅

Just like their other popular concepts, Ember follows a floral themed decor as well, but with warmer-toned dried flower arrangements for that twilight look. As the name suggested, the menu follows a woodfire cooking style where ingredients are grilled directly over an open flame. 🍖

We tried the 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 which was the highlight of our dinner, as it was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. The white wine sauce really adds an addictive savouriness to it, but the cajun spice can be reduced. 🐓 We aren’t really fans of the 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗲 as it is a little too sour for us, but it could be due to the sauce that was used. 🥩

THE CUTEST FRENCH GOURMET FOOD TRUCK IN SINGAPORE! 🇫🇷🚚

Somewhere within the lush foliage of Dempsey Hill, lies the cutest vintage food truck in Singapore with its striking bright red colour. Parked outside , 𝗟𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 is the latest project by Chef-owner Julien Royer and Executive Chef Julien Mercer, serving gourmet light bites and refreshing cocktails. 🍽

The menu is inspired by the Apéro ritual, where the French would spend an hour or so before dinner to host a get-together and unwind over cocktails and light snacks. It’s the same here as well, with the food truck being operational an hour before the restaurant’s actual dinner service. It’s also the perfect time to come and visit as the golden evening sun shines warmly on us as we dined. ☀️

We tried their 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼 & 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 which is fresh and sweet with a nice crunch. The olive oil gives it a rich finish as well. The 𝗣â𝘁é 𝗖𝗿𝗼û𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀 is firm and is very flavourful, but can be quite an acquired taste. The 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇 is refreshing and pairs amazingly well with the small appetisers. 🥂

90s HDB ESTATE-THEMED SPEAKEASY CAFÉ & COCKTAIL BAR! 🇸🇬🏢

If you have been in Singapore all your life, you would know how fast this country moves. It’s so difficult nowadays to find places that remind us of how life was a lot simpler back then. But there’s a new hidden café-bar concept in Prinsep that is here to take us back to the good ol’ days! 😌

𝗟𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴 (which means ‘upstairs’ in Chinese) is a new expansion by the folks behind .prinsep. To enter the space, you got to climb up a stairway and enter through a door that is made to look like the iconic blue HDB lift. The interior is decorated to look exactly like how a HDB estate would be in the 90s. ⚽️

In the day, this place operates like a café and transforms into a cocktail bar at night. Just like the theme, the menu is inspired by familiar flavours from traditional local dishes that we love, such as Fried Hokkien Prawn Men and Pork Trotters Noodles. Definitely a fun and interesting place to hang out in with friends! 🍜

COASTAL BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN KOREA WITH NATURAL VOLCANIC WATER! 🌋🌊

If you’re feeling adventurous, rather than spending your time in Seoul, try heading down south to Gyeongju! We drove down from Incheon in just 6 hours and found ourselves in one of the most memorable stays we’ve ever been. 𝗙𝗿𝘂𝘅 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝘅 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 is a hotel that faces the exotic East Sea with an unobstructed view of the earliest sunrise in Korea. 🇰🇷

The design of the hotel was inspired by the popular staircase-shaped terrace from New York, with an infinity pool adjacent to the lobby. Each room is also perfectly fitted with a stunning square-shaped window that allows guests to lounge by the side while they enjoy the scenic view. 😌

What is even more amazing is the use of natural volcanic water that is available throughout the rooms and water features in the hotel. We were shocked initially when we felt that the water was a bit slimy, but turns out this was the reason and the water actually have a ton of medical properties that are perfect for the skin. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants to explore more of Korea to check this place out; we booked a stay here from .

AESTHETIC CAFÉ WITH VINTAGE CLOTHING CONSIGNMENT STORE! 🧢🍳

A new café has popped up in Zion Road and it looks like a upscale vintage store in New York! Not only that, they also have a vintage clothing consignment store inside with some pretty rare pieces. 🫢

The space is opened by Timothy Koh (), a fashion buyer for an international brand in Singapore who has built a following in the fashion industry. Leave it to the expert to know how to build a cosy vintage clothing store where not only can you try out some rare finds, but also dine in and enjoy the ambience. 🧢

We tried their Uptown Sausage Muffin which surprisingly looked exactly like an Egg McMuffin. Not that we have anything against it, but certainly quite a surprise. Taste-wise, they certainly nailed it but made it better. One thing’s for sure is that the aioli they served it with is delicious! 👍🏻

JAPANESE-THEMED MINIMALIST CAFÉ WITH HOMEMADE WARABI MOCHI! 🇯🇵🍡

We popped by the peaceful neighbourhood of Kampong Bahru for another new café opening! 𝗢𝗻𝗻é is a Japanese-inspired minimalist café that focuses on fusion pastas, mochi waffles and their homemade warabi mochi. 🧇

The layout of the shop is really interesting with a dining area up front and behind, along with a bar counter in the middle. The kitchen is only accessible by stairs in the basement, kinda like how a yacht would be. The space is also pet-friendly, which is a pleasant surprise since we don’t get to see many pet-friendly spaces inside dining establishments anymore. 🐕

We tried their 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗮 𝗗𝗶 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶, which is miso lobster bisque-based pasta dish. Although it tasted alright, we felt it lacks complexity considering its price point. It makes a good Aglio Olio dish, but we don’t quite taste the miso lobster bisque. We like the truffle flavour of the 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗻, but the rice to meat ratio is too much. Our sous vide egg is unfortunately overcooked too.. We’re impressed that they made their own 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶! It’s decent and has a nice stretchy consistency! The café has only just begun operations, so we’re hoping there will be more improvements to their menu in future.

L’OCCITANE’S FIRST-EVER & LARGEST IMMERSIVE POP-UP EXPERIENCE IN SINGAPORE! 🌻 🇸🇬

𝗟'𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲 has just unveiled their first-ever immersive pop-up experience in Raffles City! The concept follows a hotel theme, bringing guests through various rooms within the activation, where they will be shown the various product series from the brand. 😍

We started off our journey with the Almond Forest, where you can plant your own digital almond tree which then shows up on a 360-interactive screen and watch it grow Proceed on to the Almond Spa where they showcase some of their hand products made by almonds and try them out. 👏🏻

You cannot miss the 5 Essential Oils Bar as well where you can get a free professional hair and scalp diagnosis, which comes with a personalised consultation on the hair products you would actually need. There’s also the walk through the Immortelle Flower Field, a spot dedicated for all your Instagram photos, followed by the Immortelle Suite for a look at their anti-ageing series. 🌼

The whole experience is free to enter, and if you complete the entire journey, you can redeem a complimentary 8-piece sample kit at the Gift Shop. Who can’t say no to free stuff right, especially if it’s from L’Occitane! ☺️

MODERN CAFÉ IN CHINATOWN WITH SOURDOUGH FILLED DONUTS! 🍩☕️

It’s not common to find a café in the heart of Chinatown, where it’s full of tourist traps and Sichuan restaurants. 𝗡𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘆 is the new kid in the block, serving fresh sourdough pastries and coffee. 🍞

Opened by the same team behind .sg, don’t let your impression be ruined just because its sister concept is a Thai restaurant. This café has a modern bold design of wooden and stone accents. We would never have imagined the two concepts are related. This café also specialises in sourdough bakes, with their filled donuts being the signature for now. 🍩

We tried their 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 which has a nice sourdough base, although we would prefer it with an oozy filling. The 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 is slightly more on the milky side, but still creamy. They are currently in their soft launch phase, so do expect more offerings on their menu while they are working things out. We are also excited for their night programme, especially since they have got a good range of natural wines. 🍷

Waking up so early in the morning for cafés can sometimes be quite a challenge, but thanks to for helping us get that extra 15 minutes of beauty sleep because we wake up looking absolutely fabulous each time. Guys, you all should check out her lash skills, it looks so natural! ☺️
