A lot has happened since we last posted here. We're kicking off the new year with a renewed commitment to keep this page updated with the latest news about personal and business brands, and the lessons we can all learn, or at least debate. The biggest news of the day - and no doubt for days to come - is the resignation of Claudine Gay, the first Black president of Harvard University. What are your thoughts? Should she have? You may have seen my article in last week's Brand Rewind newsletter about the Oklahoma sheriff's department officials caught on a recording making comments seeming to lament the inability to lynch Black people. Maybe it shouldn't have, but those comments shocked and disappointed me. Where do we go from here? How do we unpack this? What do we do with our own shock and anger? - Denise
