“Sharks in the Water” Mocktail 🦈

My kids have been all about a “fancy drink” lately so we had to do a fun themed one for shark week.

Fill cup with ice - the more ife, the more they will hold up the dummies and keep them from sinking to the bottom. Fill cup about 3/4 full with lemonade. Add 2-3 pumps of Davinci blue raspberry syrup. Add shark gummies. Top with Sprite (optional) and enjoy! 💙

Can also be turned into a cocktail with some vodka or a prosecco topper for an adult treat as well! 🥂

Under the sea cookies 🧜‍♀️ 🐠

If you want a quick snack that’s perfect for kicking off summer, this is so simple and always a hit with kids!

Spread blue frosting on a graham cracker and top with ocean fruit snacks and goldfish. The perfect sweet and salty combo.

The best part is your little ones can help create this entire thing, using a kid-safe knife to spread the frosting. So making it perfect as an art project and learning to follow directions in a fun way!

We officially have two little pre-k graduates in this house 🎉

I could not be more proud of these two, how much they have grown, and how they are so ready for their next big adventure in kindergarten. Everyday they impress me with how smart, funny, inquisitive, creative and kind they are. I’m envious how brave they can be & so proud of everything they’ve accomplished this year.

I can’t wait to see what big things they do next 😎

ABC Popsicles Matching 😎

A fun way to practice letter recognition this summer!

To make:
✨ Fold a 4x4 felt sheet in half and cut the top to round it to make it resemble a popsicle
✨ Hot gun around the edges to create a pocket. (Leave bottom section open to create a pocket)
✨ Label felt popsicles with upper case letters & popsicle sticks with lower case letters.

This can also be differentiated to practice colors, numbers, or name recognition.

Superhero Adventures 🦸 🦸‍♀️

Wrapped up another fun weekly theme of learning about superheroes in honor of Father’s Day this weekend.

✨ Superhero Baby was the book of the week
✨ Decorated masks
✨ magnetic dress up doll with a superhero outfit (along with community helper heroes).
✨ Father’s Day superhero handprint craft
✨ Not pictured but the biggest hit: superhero dress up and obstacle course 🎉

Superhero Dad! 🦸

Making these canvas with my kiddos at work this week. The superhero body is pre-cut construction paper my students will glue on & assemble. The handprint cape will be differentiated either with a paint handprint or cut out construction paper if it’s a student who does not like the feeling of paint on their hands (I have a few this year!). While I want to make this a fun memory for Dad, there’s no need to torture my students with an unpleasant sensory experience. 😅
