A brand-new Lord of the Rings game is reportedly in development — and it could be massive! 💍

Insider Gaming reports that the project is set to receive around $100 million in funding from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, with partners including Embracer (who own the LOTR game rights) and studio Revenge also said to be involved.

🎮 It’s a third-person action game, aiming for the same kind of scope and freedom as Hogwarts Legacy.

💰 Development has been funded internally up until now, but big outside investment is on the way.

📅 The deal is expected to be finalized soon — possibly within weeks.

👀 No official confirmation yet, but sources suggest this is shaping up to be one of the biggest LOTR projects in years.
