IPOKIA/YEWA-SOUTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: DR. OLUWATOYIN TAIWO (DOT) OFFICIALLY DECLARES!

The mother of all declarations for Ipokia/Yewa-South House of Representatives happened today as DOT declares to run. This comes into play after tremendous consultations to all stakeholders and to yield the clamoring and yarning of the good people of Ipokia/Yewa-South for quality representation at the green chambers, DOT took the bold step by throwing his hat into the ring and thereby declares to run for the seat of Ipokia/Yewa-South Federal Constituency in Ipokia township today.

The event witnessed the presence of notable party leaders, Elders, stakeholders, APC party faithfuls and well wishers. It’s was a rowdy welcome for DOT and happiness was in the air by all present, to register their joy.
Party leaders, Elders, Excos and party members eulogized DOT for his impactful progresses that had touched lives cut across the length and breath of the constituency and all households, and for being a good ambassador to the Local Government at all times; thereby was confident that he would continue to do more by giving back to his constituents as a good leader, philanthropist and humanitarian.

He received the blessings and assurances of teeming support towards his ambition and he appreciated the opportunity of the large numbers of people that turned out for him as he can’t hold back the joy registered on people’s faces. He promised to continue to touch lives positively and also to do more at all times.

“I assure you all today as I declare to represents you at the green chamber, that I would continue on my path of giving back to my constituents and to touch lives if given the opportunity to represent the good people of Ipokia/Yewa-South Federal Constituency” he added.

DOT wholeheartedly appreciated all present amidst joy and happiness as the event was concluded, he wished everyone journey mercy back to their various abodes and destinations. As the election draws nearer, let’s continue to give our unending supports to candidates of outstanding reputes.

OGUN STATE COMMISSIONER FOR CULTURE AND TOURISM FACILITATES 200 FREE JAMB REGISTRATION FOR STUDENTS.

Hon. Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo; Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Ogun State have yet again commenced his annual free Jamb registration programs for students in his constituency. This is an annual program that had been in play for month of Sundays to enable admission seekers have access to write their Jamb exams without financial hinderances.

A monk once said “If you educate a child, you have liberated an household”, in respect to this; Hon. Dr. Toyin Taiwo had decided to liberate several households through this year’s program and to curtail the shenanigans of our students, teenagers and teeming youths at the grassroots. This year, the Commissioner would be dishing out 200 Jamb forms to students cut across Ipokia Local Government and Yewa-South Local Government with 105 and 95 forms respectively.
This is also to compliment the massive investment of the Governor; Prince Dapo Abiodun in the Educational sector of our dear state that had been yielding visible results at all levels. In the quest to do more, one good term deserves another. Let’s all join hands to re-elect Prince Dapo Abiodun for second term to achieve more land sliding victory and total overhaul in our education system and other sectors too.

As the list of this year’s free Jamb registration exercise is currently being complied, we wish all the beneficiaries the best in their exams and educational pursuits.

COMMISSIONER FOR CULTURE AND TOURISM, OGUN STATE HOLDS APC GENERAL MEETING IN IPOKIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

Hon. Dr. Toyin Taiwo; Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Ogun State held APC rotational ward meeting in his ward-Ifoyintedo Ward. This is a strategic grassroots mobilization across all wards in Ipokia Local Government for our party towards the forthcoming general elections and beyond, and also for re-election of the Governor; Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR.

The General meeting witnessed over three thousand party faithfuls cut across all wards in Ipokia Local Government which comprises of all leaders, stakeholders, elders and party faithfuls of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ipokia Local Government.
Elder Musbau Obanla; member of Governor’s Elders Advisory Council appreciated all who are in attendance for their undiluted progressive commitment towards the party in his welcome speech.

Hon. Wasiu Agbetokun (ONIKOYI)- the Executive chairman of Ipokia Local Government and the Local Government party Chairman- Mr. Taiwo Whepetoji who were in attendance also appreciated party loyalists for their undying support towards the last local government elections and for the party victories. They further assured the good people of the Local Government of more people oriented programs and projects for the betterment of the constituents.

The Commissioner who was warmly received and welcomed to his ward by party members for giving an outstanding representation of the ward at the state level, he gave keynote speech by firstly appreciating all present and gave kudos to all party leaders, elders, stakeholders and party faithfuls for believing in him and the leadership of the working Governor-His Excellency, Prince DAPO Abiodun. He outlined projects facilitated by His Excellency ranging from the rehabilitated portion of the Odo-Afa bridge that had wore a new look after being neglected for years by the past administration to remodeling of our schools and Primary Health Centers (PHC) cut across all wards in the Local Government.
Most importantly, the Alaari-Koko-Ilase road is currently receiving rehabilitation as engineers are presently on-site and promised that more befitting projects would be delivered by the Governor.
“I would also urge everybody to continue working for the party to put us even far ahead in the Local Government and in the State; your fervent support for re-election of His Excellency is as important as every other things so as to serve us even better than we have witnessed in the past years” he added.

The people sincerely appreciated the Governor for his good gesture to the Local Government despite being placed out of map by the previous Government and also asked for the Governor’s intervention in modalities for the commencement of Ogun State Polytechnic, Ipokia and other crucial developmental legacy projects.

The meeting was concluded by paying a courtesy visit to one of the party elder in the ward; Pa Oniyiku in his residence. He was delighted by the august visit and he addressed the party members and charged them to always support APC and the party leadership to come victorious in the coming General elections and for the second term bid of Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, as he said “One good term, deserves another” in his statement. He sincerely appreciated the Governor for not leaving Ipokia Local Government out of his progressive and developmental projects in the state while he calls for more.
