Hi all!!! Sorry I dropped off the radar! I took some time off from social media and some time for family time… I’m going to try this all again, but bear with me as I tip toe into it! Let me know if there’s something you want to see from me!
We are starting to get ready for school to start around here!! I’m taking the time to get myself back into the school rhythm of things! Yesterday I made a batch of pumpkin chocolate chip bread for breakfast this week, and this morning I got up early (need to “coach” one of my girls to get up earlier this year to get the bus) and I made lunches for all the kids!

This is my 6am morning weekday routine, getting lunch and breakfast ready for my 5 kids.
Did I struggle with opening that juice enough?!? 😆🤣 oh dear, that was painful to watch! Apparently, my mental capacity of the day had a hard time with that task! But… I eventually got it! 🙌🏻👏🏻
Thursday is the busy day of the week! No time to stop… school drop offs, speech, picnic lunches… oh my! Well… LETS GO!

What are we eating today?

Breakfast:
Homemade bread for toast with peanut butter
Bananas
Yogurt if they’re still hungry

Lunch:
Homemade lunchables (Ham, vegan cheese, pepperoni & crackers)
Fruit and veggie trays
Juice pouch
One small piece of candy from their Halloween haul
They will also choose some things from the snack cupboard if they feel they need them.

Dinner: “grilled or casserole” night
Ribs on the grill, homemade corn bread, mixed vegetables
Vegan option: corn bread, mixed vegetables and tofu 😁

Lets cook! We are making cashew ricotta! Its a vegan alternitive to ricotta cheese.
You will need:
1 1/2 cups soaked raw cashews.
1/2 cup water.
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.
2 tbsp nutritional yeast.
1 clove garlic.
1/2 tsp onion powder.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Food processor.

It’s Monday after a long weekend… so, things around here are still a bit crazy! The house is a mess! And we are out of routine! Let the chaos commence!
I think everyone is feeling a bit better and there’s a lot less coughing currently… that could change in a matter of minutes, so we shall take it while it comes!

Homemade bread maker bread for toast (made overnight in bread maker)
Blueberries
Yogurt if they’re still hungry

Lunch:
Leftover beans & hot dogs, and (vegan) mac and cheese
Fruit and veggie tray
Morgan-Turkey salad sandwich
One small piece of candy from their Halloween haul
They will also choose some things from the snack cupboard if they feel they need them.

Dinner: “pasta” night
Vegan lasagna
Vegan option: it’s all vegan tonight! 😁

This is my 6am morning weekday routine, getting lunch and breakfast ready for my 5 kids.
Today is the last “morning routine” for the week because tomorrow is thanksgiving!
I did not pack a lunch for the littles, because they will be here while I prep things for thanksgiving and I’m 100% certain that they will want to sample what we are making. As I’m prepping this, I’m also hearing the dreadful croup come from upstairs, so Ruthie will be staying home with us too!
Today I’ll be prepping:
Baked potatoes
Homemade rolls
Getting the Turkey ready for the oven
Cookies for dessert
Fruits and veggies for a dessert charcuterie board 😁
