Birth Trauma Stories Podcast Holding space and finding light after perinatal trauma! Formerly The Twinky Chronicles Podcast

28/11/2025

This week I’m joined by Ashli Daley. Ashli’s is a registered nurse, IBCLC, and an infant sleep expert based in South Florida.

With over five years of NICU experience, she now works in her community and online to support families navigating feeding challenges, sleep struggles, and the emotional weight of new parenthood. Ashli’s work is rooted in empathy and evidence-based care, offering personalized support that helps parents feel seen, supported, and confident, especially after a difficult birth or early complications.

Whether she’s helping a family rebuild trust in their feeding journey or finding gentle ways to get more rest, Ashli’s mission is to hold space for healing and empowerment in the postpartum season.

November is Prematurity Awareness Month — a time to honor the tiniest fighters and the families who walk this journey with them.
1 in 10 babies are born prematurely. These little ones face higher risks for lifelong medical and neurodevelopmental challenges, such as:

• cerebral palsy
•vision or hearing impairments
• learning disabilities
• behavioral or emotional struggles.

Behind every premature baby is a parent navigating fear, hope, and an often overwhelming medical world. Support for NICU and preemie parents isn’t optional — it’s essential.

As we lift up these families, we also cling to God’s promise: “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” — Isaiah 41:13

This week on the blog, we’re joined by Bella Reilly for a faith-filled conversation: “Understanding & Navigating Menopause with Strength & Self-Kindness.”

Bella reminds us that even in seasons of change, God’s design for our bodies is good, and His grace carries us through every transition. Together, we talk about embracing this stage with courage, compassion, and a renewed sense of purpose—anchored in the truth that our worth is not defined by age, but by who we are in Christ.

Head to my website to be encouraged, inspired, and reminded that God is with you in every chapter of womanhood.
