We brought the water to the surface today!

We are so close. Because of you, clean water is no longer just a dream—it’s becoming a reality.

A few weeks ago, we hit water at 70 meters deep, exceeding our expectations. Then, with your generous support, we brought the water to the surface today!

We purchased
- Pipes,
-a water filter,
- a pump

Water is flowing, and lives are already being changed.

But we’re not finished yet.

The Final Steps—We Need Your Help Now More Than Ever: We still Need Donations to Help Us Purchase:

✅ Solar panels to power the system sustainably
✅ A generator to keep water flowing at all times
✅ Official land documentation to protect the water source forever
✅ Water storage tanks & steel stands so families don’t have to rely only on the sun or a generator
✅ Two faucets to control the water flow safely and efficiently, as advised by the water company

These last steps are urgent. To complete them, we need to raise $5,500 CAD (~$3,575 USD at $1 CAD = .64 USD rate).

This is it—the final stretch. You’ve already helped us accomplish the hardest part, and now we need you to stand with us once more to cross the finish line.

We did it—we found water!

At 70 meters deep (10 Meters more than we had hoped) we hit the source that will change the lives of families in this village forever.

This moment belongs to all of you who donated, shared, and believed in this mission. Thank you!

The Power of Clean Water

Water is life.
It means healthy children who no longer suffer from waterborne diseases.
It means safe pregnancies for mothers who won’t risk infections.
It means dignity for elders who no longer walk miles for water.

The Reality We Are Changing

For years, families here in Congo have had no choice but to drink unsafe water.
Babies have fallen sick. Women have carried heavy buckets for hours.
But today, we are changing that.

The Final Steps
Right now, the water is still underground. To bring it to the surface, make it safe, and secure it for the community, we must raise $7,300 CAD (~$4,745 USD).

This will cover:
✅ Pumps to bring water up
✅ Purification to make it safe
✅ A generator & water storage
✅ Buying the land to protect the water forever

This woman has been the inspiration in most of the poems i have written thus far about being a woman in Congo.

Today is International Day for Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict, and i will be honored to write a poem about Mama Masika.

Her story is one that will make you shed a tear, hate humanity, and also love humanity at the same time.

She was a survivor of all the atrocities you can possibly think about.

Please stay tuned. i will be posting her poem in a couple of hours.

I hope i do her story justice, and by the end, you'll know her name, and also her story.
