* ENG: It was my sister's birthday so we decided to take a trip to Warren Fall, and have a little picnic there. Don't worry, we still kept our guard up for COVID-19 and obeyed all safety requirements. We went early in the morning and there was only one other family, which we made sure to stay about one block away and left right away when more people started to come later around noon. Warren Fall was beautiful!!! The water was crystal clear with a tint of turquoise reflection, though it was quite cold.

* VIE: Sinh nhật chị mình nên cả nhà rủ nhau lên rừng hóng gió rồi sẵn tiện làm một buổi dã ngoại tại thác nước luôn. Đi chơi nhưng mà vẫn đề phòng COVID-19 nha. Nhà mình đến nơi sáng sớm nên chỉ có một gia đình khác cũng ở đó thôi và hai nhà chơi cách nhau hơn 80 mét nên rất yên tâm. Đây là thác Warren, cách nhà khoảng hơn một tiếng lái xe. Thác rất là đẹp. Nước cực kì trong và có màu xanh ngọc biếc rất đẹp, chỉ có điều là nước hơi lạnh vì đây là nước tuyết tan ở trên núi chảy xuống.

Rice Paper Salad | Bánh Tráng Trộn. Mại Dzô bà con ơi!!!!!!!!!

ENG: Rice paper salad is a very popular Vietnamese street food. It is my childhood/memory from the time of middle school. You cannot find it in Vermont. I got the ingredients from a family friend of mine, Kelly Kiều Như, who owns a Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant in VA. Super delicious!!!! VIE: Vì bận quá nên lâu rồi không làm video mới. Hôm nay xin giới thiệu đến mọi người (bằng tiếng Việt) ngôi trường mà mình đang theo học: Trường Đại Học Vermont. Trường quá lớn và có quá nhiều thứ để giới thiệu, nên trong video này mình chỉ tập trung vào giới thiệu sơ qua chứ không thể kể nói hết được. Trường có đến 4 khuôn viên nhưng video này chỉ quay 1 khuôn viên thôi.

Đây là video đầu tiên mình sử dụng tiếng Việt nên bị vấp rất nhiều vì không quen. Vì ít sử dụng tiếng Việt hằng ngày và trong đầu toàn bằng tiếng anh nên khi nói ra bằng tiếng Việt có một số từ ngữ mình dịch không kịp nên bị sai, mong mọi người thông cảm.

School had been extremely busy for me so I couldn't make a new video until now. I made this video today with the purpose of briefly introducing my school, the University of Vermont, to friends and family in Vietnam; hence the video is in Vietnamese (though there is English subtitle available). If you heard me stumble over my words here and there in the video, please understand that this is the first video in Vietnamese and I'm not used to it yet. It's very difficult to have your brain functions in English but tries to produce words in Vietnamese (Bilingual problem).

ENG: Let's celebrate Vietnamese Lunar New Year, the year of the Rat. This weekend (Jan 25th, Gregorian calendar a.k.a commonly used calendar) is January 1st on the lunar calendar; an ancient calendar that is very popularly used in South Asia and Vietnam is among those countries. I want to show everybody a taste of Vietnamese tradition on the biggest and most important holiday of the year. Of course, this is more of a simplified/westernized version of what Vietnamese people actually do but, since we are living in the U.S, this is the best my family can do.
