We have to do better. Research by the CDC has shown that:

1️⃣ in 5️⃣ Americans was sexually molested as a child
1️⃣ in 4️⃣ was beaten by a parent to the point of a mark being left on their body
1️⃣ in 3️⃣ couples engage in physical violence
2️⃣5️⃣% of us grew up with alcoholic relatives
1️⃣ out of 8️⃣ witnessed their mother being beaten or hit.

Our bodies have defense mechanisms that shift our state and allow us to go into “survival” mode.

We didn’t have much language or formal understanding around PTSD until soldiers came back from Vietnam with shell shock and night terrors.

What we do know is that healing from trauma is a gentle process of regaining trust, connections and new associations in the mind. It starts with gentle awareness.

I went back in time to the 1800s to witness another life that felt like it was mine. I knew her name. I felt her anger. Her words were my words. And I got a deeper appreciate for myself.

In episode 36, I walk through a recent past life regression hypnosis session I experienced and shared the stories of 3 past lives.

Regardless as to whether you believe past life regression or life between lives are true or not... it is truly fascinating stuff!!! And it makes for GREAT storytelling.
