We defend our president with guns.
We defend our celebrities with guns.
We defend our banks with guns.
We defend our courts with guns.
We defend our jewelry stores with guns.
We defend our sporting events with guns.
We defend our music festivals with guns.

We defend our children with a sign that says:

“THIS IS A GUN FREE ZONE”

and then call someone with a gun to come help in an emergency.

There isn’t a budget issue - we’ve spent far more sending mass weapons to other countries than the cost of arming the facilities that house our children.

Banning any class of weapon won’t fix this (everyone knows those who want to get their hands on them still will)

I’m all for jumping through more hoops as a law abiding citizen to legally buy my fi****ms but I don’t believe that fixes much as a whole. I believe it could certainly help in some cases!

My heart breaks watching the videos of her walking in and through the school yesterday.

I’m also so thankful for the officers when watching their body cam footage. They moved with absolute purpose in hunt of that sick woman and did exactly what needed to be done.

We have to talk about this. We have to voice our concern. We have to stand up for and protect our children.
