In order to support the meeting of members of the International Parliament for West Papua (IPWP) which will take place on 18 October 2023 at the Westminster Hall, the West Papuan people of the Ketengban tribe stated their position:

(1). People's Parliament of the Ketengban-Pegunungan Bintang La-pago Tribe Supports IPWP's Call for UN High Commissioner for West Papua in Westminster Hall, 18 October 2023

(2). The People's Parliament of the Ketengban Tribe urges the High Commissioner of the UN Human Rights Council to go to West Papua to investigate serious human rights violations that have occurred in the past and present.

(3). The People's Parliament of the Ketengban Tribe together with the people of the Ketengban Tribe, 210 Clans and 199 Villages Urge the Indonesian Government to immediately open access for the UN Human Rights Council's visit to West Papua.

This morning (17/10/2023) in Wamena City, the people of West Papua are preparing to take to the streets peacefully to support the International Parliamentary Meeting for West Papua (IPWP) at Westminster Hall in England tomorrow, 18 October 2023.

States that:
(1). Supporting IPWP's call for a visit by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to West Papua.

(2). Urge a visit by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to West Papua to investigate the West Papua issue.

(3). Urge the Indonesian Government to immediately open access for the visit of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to West Papua.
