We’re honored!

On May 22, 2025, Maine Emergency Squad, Inc. was recognized as the Broome County EMS Agency of the Year by the Susquehanna Regional EMS Council (SREMS).

This award is a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of our members, both compensated and volunteer, who work tirelessly to serve our community. Every call, every hour, every effort matters, and this recognition belongs to each and every one of you.

Thank you to SREMS for this incredible honor, and to the residents of Broome County and the Susquehanna Region for your continued trust and support. We’re proud to serve.

🌞 Today, Maine Emergency Squad, Inc. has received special permission from our moms to be out at the Berkshire Hills Round Up in Berkshire, NY! While the sun is shining and the races are revving, our team is on standby, ready to ensure safety on and off the track.

🚑 Our EMS Staging area is fully staffed, and our Gator is deployed by the track for rapid response and extrication. Our Gator teams coordinate closely with track personnel, making sure we can quickly reach patients without causing any additional incidents.

🤝 But that’s not all – in addition to our compensated staff, we’re thrilled to have about half a dozen volunteer drivers and EMTs joining us today. This is a perfect example of how Maine Emergency Squad, Inc. operates as a combination agency, blending the dedication of both paid professionals and passionate volunteers.

Stay safe, have fun, and remember – we’re here when you need us. 🚑
