**RESPOND TO EDUCATE, NOT BELITTLE**
What's disappointing about the modern Filipino gaming community is the toxicity on groups, forums and blogs and the excessive trash talking. But if you ask me if there is anything worse than that, then I'd have to say it's those folks who belittle people in chat groups and comment sections. Alam natin na for every game there will be newbies. These guys will ask questions on blogs, reddit, posts and chat groups because they are not experienced enough or well informed. That's why they ask questions. Tapos may maeencounter silang mga tao online who will respond and make snide remarks about what a stupid question they're asking.. and for what? So they can feel better about themselves? Para maramdaman nila na mas matalino at mas magaling sila kesa sa nagtatanong? That doesn't help newbies. It embarrasses them, kills their enthusiasm and makes them afraid of asking questions again. We want to encourage them, and make them feel that this is a safe place to grow with other gamers.
That's the culture we want as a gaming community.
If you have nothing positive to say, then better not say anything at all. Kung di ka makakatulong, at least wag ka nalang makasama.
*FYI - I've been playing this game since the launch of the mobile ver. In fact, I've been playing the game since 2016 when it first came out on PC. So I'm glad sakin sya nag comment ng ganun. But I feel like it's my duty to this community to speak up and ensure that this won't happen to new folks who are joining us.
