Do you know that meme that shows a dog in doggy heaven? The one where an elderly dog crosses the rainbow bridge, & his owner is left behind, devastated? Remember? That dog can’t stand to see how sad his Earthbound bestie is, so he immediately paw-picks & trains a puppy in his likeness to send backdown.

Well, this is who trained me! His name is Molson. My mom lost him 4 years ago on June 6, 2020. He was almost 18. I’m born on August 30 of that same year, & my mom met me on November 6, 2020. I am named after Molson, & he prepared me well for my responsibilities.

While I know I will never replace my mentor, I also know that’s not my job. My job is to love my mom with all my heart, remind her to be brave when things get hard, & most of all, give her a reason to love coming home each & everyday 💙💪🏽

PS - Pugs are beautiful, no matter what you haters say 😂♥️
