This is PHM School Board Member Matt Chaffee’s resignation statement. It can only be explained as the ramblings of a crazy person. Apparently the entire media aparatus (including the only conservative outlet), multiple judges, lawyers, the former GOP Chair, multiple school board members, former cops, etc. conspired to go after a nobody school board member because…? Oh — and Chaffee is currently attempting to prevent any discovery and testimony taken under oath in his lawsuit from becoming public. He even went so far as to not show up for his deposition out of fear RNM would publish his statements. Got it. 👌

PHM School Board Member Matt Chaffee is petitioning the court to keep ALL discovery in his defamation case against RNM sealed from public view. Now, he's even cancelled his own deposition out of fear his testimony would become public. The discovery is extremely limited to the allegations at hand -- his use of prostitutes, mental health problems, substance abuse and the stalking and harassment of multiple women. RNM is dedicated to seeking the truth and will not agree to anything that would prevent the truth about this "public servant" from reaching the parents and taxpayers of this region. Remember, Chaffee brought this case claiming the reporting was false. The discovery process will, in RNM's opinion, only support RNM's previous reporting.
