WHO KILLED TSIETSI MASHININI?
Tsietsi Mashinini in exile with his wife, Welma Campbell Mashinini (Miss Liberia & Miss Universe 1977) during their wedding.
In another picture Tsietsi carries his daughter Mamokete.
Also in pictures with beard captured in Nigeria.
Tsietsi returned to Azania in a sealed coffin which his family had to break open to view his body.
Authorities had tried to refuse the Mashinini family from opening the coffin.
But Tsietsi's brothers ensured that family viewed the body.
Tsietsi was said to have died from AIDS.
But when the coffin was opened, lo and behold, they saw an injured man.
Tsietsi's body was bruised and with scars, with ears cut and face disfigured.
Tsietsi's body had wounds that were still bleeding.
The Mashinini family was informed of Tsietsi's death by Miriam Makeba who said Tsietsi had been sick in Guinea where she had hosted him.
Makeba refused to be interviewed about Tsietsi until she died.
Until today the truth about Tsietsi's killing remains unknown, like many others.
In exile Tsietsi had refused to join the ANC.
He believed that white people in South Africa ought to pay for the crimes committed against Black people in Azania.
We should never stop to ask the question:
WHO KILLED TSIETSI MASHININI?
Until we find the answers..
