Vindaloo
One of the most iconic Indian dishes, the Vindaloo is a marriage of delicious Indian & Portuguese flavours. Made using locally sourced ingredients, this dish takes you straight back to the carefree lanes of Goa.

By limiting our choice of ingredients to a select few spices, we were able to represent the flavours of each recipe in a simple, yet visually appealing way. All the ingredients used in creating these spice arrangements were locally sourced from the markets of Mahatma Phule Mandai, Pune.

Ghee Roast
Tulua's Ghee Roast is inspired by the coastal flavours of Mangalore. Packed with local ingredients, this dish is a perfect balance of tanginess and spice.

We experimented with a variety of ingredients and spice arrangements on the packaging to emphasise the complexity of flavours in Indian cuisine.

This creamy concoction is made using handpicked ingredients that are balanced to perfection, with mild hints of spice that define this timeless classic.

Tulua is a brand built around the idea of bringing India's complex traditional recipes to yourhome in a convenient and versatile way. Our brief was to develop a brand identity and apackaging system for Tulua’s product line - a series of ready-to-cook meal bases inspired by
regional recipes from India.

With the aim to come across as an honest, friendly & approachable brand, we used a casual,
hand painted typeface as a base to the Tulua wordmark.
Cooking Indian cuisine can be a complex affair and as a product Tulua’s meal bases are
simplifying that process for the consumer. We wanted the identity to reflect the same
playfulness and simplicity.

The packaging has been developed around the ingredients used in the recipes. This becamethe core design idea. By focusing on the ingredients we drew attention towards the abundanceof flavor, complexity and beauty of Indian cooking. In terms of a visual aesthetic, we aimed to
position the packaging as a contemporary Indian brand without any overbearing ethnic cliches.

Here's a recent set of spot illustrations we created for 's reworked f&b menus. We took inspiration from the interiors (designed by the super talented folks at ) to come up with these single colour compositions that make use of light and shadow.
