Famous Indian YouTuber Nischay Malhan, aka Triggered Insaan, has raised INR 3 lakh (NPR 4.8 Lakh) to support people affected by floods in Nepal and Odisha through a charity gaming livestream.

During the livestream, viewers contributed INR 1,62,739, while Malhan personally donated an additional INR 1,37,261, bringing the total amount to INR 3 lakh.

The funds will be provided to SikhAid Charitable Trust, which is supporting relief efforts for flood-affected communities in Nepal.

The fundraiser is part of Malhan’s efforts to help people affected by natural disasters. He had earlier raised around INR 70 Lakh funds for victims of the Assam floods.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has said the government will speed up rescue, relief and reconstruction efforts following the Bhotekoshi disaster.

He announced that five task forces will be formed to work on roads, bridges, infrastructure, water and sanitation, and tunnel rescue.
