WHAT SO SPECIAL ABOUT LAYLATUL QADRI
The Holy Night of Laylat-ul-Qadr, otherwise called the Night of Power, Night of Decree, or Night of Destiny incites a thousand months’ worth of rewards in a singular eve. If one executes any acts of goodwill on this night, they reap the rewards of having performed the good deed for a thousand months (83 years).
This is believed to be the night that Allah (SWT) revealed the Holy Qur’an to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), linking the Night of Power (Laylat-ul-Qadr) and revelations to one another. As a result, it’s during this night that our destiny is said to be written for the remaining year. Consequently, everyone should make the most of this significant occasion by gaining as much reward as possible.
During Laylat-ul- Qadr (the 27th night), Hadith strength is elevated. Therefore, the Night of Power (Laylat-ul-Qadr) and revelations quotes should be taken seriously and followed closely. On the Night of Power (Laylat-ul-Qadr), Hadith can be used as a major source of guidance for all Muslims.
This evening occurs within Ramadan’s concluding 10 nights, and popular belief suggests that Laylat-ul-Qadr is the 27th night. It’s during this month that Muslims refrain from any sinful acts whilst also fasting during the daylight hours in observation of the Five Pillars of Islam.
