A surprise teenage pregnancy & birth in hospital.

On this episode I open up about my initiation from maiden to mother 🔥

It’s a solo ep revisiting pregnancy and birth with a GP shared care model in the late 2000’s.

This experience was imprinted on me forever and played a huge role in my future decision making for my pregnancies and births.

I often times hear mums say “I didn’t know XYZ until I had a baby myself… now I know better, I’ll do it differently”.

Could we heed the words of mothers that’ve walked the fire before us? Do we need to experience it ourselves?

On this episode I open up about my initiation from maiden to mother 🔥

// ‘I think I need to push’ // A few minutes before this moment mom was disappointed in herself that she had a hard time coping with the contractions. She did so well, kept breathing and no one in the room had any idea she was fully dilated already. When she felt the urge to push, she transitioned to hands and knees, and ‘SPLASH’ baby’s head was out. Babies body followed in the same contraction. I can’t believe I got this moment on camera with everything happening so fast. The birth pool was still being filled, but the baby was faster than the speed of light 🤣✨

You are so much stronger than you think. Be proud. Be very proud. 🙏🏻
