The Great Wall of China বিশ্বের দীর্ঘতম প্রতিরক্ষা দেয়াল, যা প্রাচীন চীনের রাজারা নির্মাণ করেছিলেন শত্রুদের আক্রমণ থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়ার জন্য। এটি প্রায় ২১,০০০ কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ এবং নির্মাণ শুরু হয়েছিল প্রায় ২,৩০০ বছর আগে, খ্রিস্টপূর্ব ৭ম শতাব্দীতে। এর মূল অংশ বেইজিং-এর কাছাকাছি অবস্থিত, এবং এটি পাহাড়, মরুভূমি, উপত্যকা ও সবুজ বনজঙ্গল পেরিয়ে বিস্তৃত। এটি শুধু একটি প্রতিরক্ষা কাঠামো নয়, বরং চীনের ইতিহাস, স্থাপত্য ও সংস্কৃতির এক জীবন্ত নিদর্শন। আজ এটি UNESCO World Heritage Site এবং বিশ্বের ৭টি আশ্চর্যের একটি।
