Here’s a simple monthly budget breakdown I created for Lola:

• House Rent - 21k (monthly savings in a sinking fund)
• Feeding - 35k
• Transportation - 29k
• Bills/Utilities - 5k
• Emergency Fund - 5k (monthly contribution)
• Self-Care - 5k

It's tight, but Lola can make it happen! 矗


Here are some tips for her to improve her financial situation:


1. Negotiate Work Arrangement: Talk to her boss about a hybrid work option to save on transportation.
2. Increase Income: Seek a raise, upskill, or find a side hustle for extra earnings.

Tired of setting goals and not achieving them?
Don't worry, you're not alone! Try these actionable steps to make the most of the remaining months in 2023!

1️⃣ Review and refresh your plans to figure out what is still relevant or not. Cancel out the irrelevant ones and highlight 1 - 3 things you need to narrow your focus on.

2️⃣ Re-order and prioritize the goals according to their level of importance and decide on one to focus for this month. Break them into smaller actionable tasks and allocate time daily to work on these tasks.

3️⃣ Evaluate your daily routine to be sure you're spending enough time working towards your goals. Set aside dedicated time daily to work on them.


Remember, small daily actions add up to big accomplishments!
