Medical Cannabis Industry Development: The government plans to promote the cultivation and export of cannabis for medical purposes, positioning Trinidad and Tobago as a key supplier of pharmaceutical-grade cannabis products in developed markets.
Support for Small Farmers: Incentives and training programs will be provided to small farmers interested in cultivating commercial ma*****na. Additionally, cooperatives will be facilitated to allow small farmers to pool resources for agro-processing or to sell crops to larger entities.

Regulatory Framework: The Cannabis Control Authority Bill will be enacted to establish a commercial cultivation, agro-processing, and export licensing framework, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and quality controls, particularly for medical ma*****na exports.
