The final release for 2025 will be the vicious second full-length release from USBM band Cemetery Moon.

'Dominion of Ashes' is a misanthropic and barbaric outpouring that is expounded by a complete line up this time - rather than being the sole projection of founder/vocalist Apparition. The band from Connecticut have come up with something as feral as it is tamed, as dissonant as it is melodious and as ghostly as it is uncomfortably tangible.

This will be available on limited edition cassette via Wulfhere, and completes another phenomenal year for underground black metal releases on the label.

Pre-Orders for upcoming releases from CASTRIVENIAN (Brazil) are now live.

'Reborn From The Ashes' is the first full length from this aggressive, caustic black metal band from South America. This was released in July 2025 (with limited CD runs through OnlyHate Propaganda and Signal Rex) and will now be available on both CD and limited edition cassette via Wulfhere.

'Eternal Fog's Rebirth' and 'S.H.T.I' are the two original demos recorded by Castrivenian and are now committed to cassette via Wulfhere. Each side will hold one demo - making this a very unique release release.

We hosted a one-off, pre-event with Barry of The Black Wood right here at Fell Foot Wood.

It was a small gathering in December featuring Asklash, supported by two Cumbrian black metal bands. That moment paved the way for the official launch of Darkness Over Cumbria in 2016!

Join us next year to celebrate a decade of of black metal in Cumbria at the venue where it all started: Fell Foot Wood!

Returning to our roots! 🌲

The year was 2016, and Darkness Over Cumbria was born. That year, we hosted three intimate gatherings at the truly unique and atmospheric Fell Foot Wood. These small events in March, July, and December laid the foundation for everything that followed.

To honor a decade of black metal, community, and unforgettable nights, we are returning to our origins for one time only. In 2026, we will host three special anniversary events back at Fell Foot Wood!
