At first, we criticized the Philippine Coast Guard.
We questioned their presence, their actions, their intentions.
But when the floodwaters rose—higher than a man could stand—
They were the ones risking their lives to save others.
They didn’t think twice about their own safety…
Even when drowning was a real possibility.
But now we see.
Now we know.
Thank you, Philippine Coast Guard.
You are the true heroes.
