Today we look at a model who has broken the industry by fearlessly being himself.

Rick Genest, also known as Zombie Boy, was a Canadian born fashion model, actor and musician. After he was diagnosed with a brain tumour, he was on the surgery waitlist for six months, during which he contemplated his life and possible death.

It was this contemplation that led to him tattooing over most of his body. Zombie Boy holds the record for the most human bones tattooed on one person.

As a model, Genest was featured in the new Thierry Mugler Autumn/Winter men's collection. He has also appeared on GQ Style UK, and most famously in Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" music video.

Sadly, Rick Genest passed away in 2018, although his legacy lives on. He reminds us that different is beautiful.

Robyn Lawley is an Australian born model. She has been dubbed the supermodel of "plus-size" models. Her striking face and beautiful curves have graced the covers of numerous magazines including Vogue Italy, Marie Claire France, Elle France, and Cosmopolitan Australia.

When Lawley modelled for Ralph Lauren in 2012 she became the first plus-size model to star in a high-end designer campaign. She was also the first plus-size model to be featured in the Sports Illustrated annual swimsuit issue in 2015.

Robyn, who is a size 14-16 hates labels and refuses to accept the plus-size one she has been given. She chooses not to focus on size because she wants to promote a healthy body image and help young women to accept their bodies.
