🚨✅ AC Milan confirm Luka Modrić has signed a contract until June 30, 2027.

Great news. Experience, quality & leadership will be crucial for Ruben Amorim. Helps set the example off the pitch, important tactical presence leading the way on it.

Another key signing for Ruben Amorim to shore up our defence & hopefully proves to be an effective fit for the system/style of play being implemented.

🗣 Ruben Amorim: "I have to convince the fans. I can't say it will be amazing right away. The fans are smart, I can't insult anyone's intelligence. I can promise that I will always do the best for the club. Not the best for myself, for the club. That's a promise.

"It's an honour to be here, I'm so happy. The quality of play is fundamental. I feel a responsibility to be here. We're here not to avoid losing, but to win. It's a great challenge.

"I can tell you how I want to play: we have to dominate the opponent and defend well. I want to entertain, make the fans have fun, play football that's fun to watch. We want to win and dominate the game."

On Luka Modric: "He's a player we want to keep; I've spoken to him twice. If necessary, I can go and talk to him again; I never get tired. He's incredible. I'm not telling you he'll play every game, but we want to count on Modric for next season."
