Behind The Story Of Jaylen Rice Page ran by Tara Rice, mother of Jaylen Rice, works to end the stigma surrounding mental illness and stop its weaponization in punitive systems.

We advocate for compassionate solutions that address root causes rather than punish those in need.

I was going to stay quiet, but not anymore.

When you went to war with me, you thought I was just going to sit down. You were wrong. I’m not built to back down, and I don’t need backup. I don’t need attention. I don’t even like attention.

This fight was always bigger than Fort Worth.
That’s why it took so many of you — even the ones who claim to fight for social justice, but behind closed doors are making deals with the enemy. You picked the wrong one. I’m taking down every single one of you, all at once. It’s not just 88 people — it’s way more — and still, I stand.

Let me make this clear:
Nothing I’m asking for is negotiable. You will pay me my $5 billion settlement — and you will forever remember me and my children. Mark my words:
• 2701 Kimbo Road will be painted with my and my daughter’s faces.
• Every day you walk into the new Fort Worth City Hall, you’ll see Thomas’s picture.
• Alongside his will be my sons’ and my own.

You will never forget our names: The Jaylen Rice Project is now in full effect.

I’m not here for likes. I’m not here for views.
I’m here for integrity.
It’s not what you do when everyone’s watching — it’s what you do when no one is.
And now it’s judgment time.

Understand this:
• I will have a contract with the City of Fort Worth.
• I will have a contract with Tarrant County Juvenile Services.
• I will be the voice for the Black and Brown children locked away, coerced into signing plea deals because they can’t even read the papers they are signing.

You pretended to care.
You picked and chose who to protect.
I’m not pretending. I’m holding you ALL accountable.

And no, I will NEVER live there again — but trust me, you will remember my name.
No settlements. No hush money.
Straight to jury trial.

By the way — people who commit crimes don’t file federal lawsuits demanding FBI and DOJ investigations. I did.
I already have the evidence. You can try to clean up your mess now, but it’s too late.
The fentanyl deaths tied to Alex Kim and the Tarrant County DA?
I see you. Receipts in hand.

When you pick a war with me, someone has to finish it.
And I’m not a quitter.
There is a God. And the God I serve — may He have mercy on your soul.
Because I won’t.

My little leaders of tomorrow have an undeniable spirit and presence. When you meet them, you can’t forget them—they leave a lasting impact on everyone they encounter. God didn’t just bless me with them, He truly showed out.

None of you candidates have proven to possess the leadership skills necessary for effective governance. Instead, you’ve shown that you are just like the rest—more focused on personal gain than on true integrity. It’s apparent that you care more about maintaining your public image than standing up for what is right. Your alliances take precedence over standing firm on truth and facts.

What you say means nothing to me. I don’t care about your race, your political aspirations, or what side of the aisle you stand on. When you sit back and allow a system to abuse our children—not just in the county and city, but across the state—and you do nothing about it, then you are part of the problem.

I expect this to go over the heads of many in Tarrant County and Fort Worth because you seem so disconnected from the rest of the world, and I mean that in the most frustrating way. Step outside that county, and you’ll learn a lot. Even a city just a couple of hours away from Fort Worth can offer you valuable insights. But honestly, it seems your minds are already closed, so I don’t expect you to open them now.

When you allow elected officials or those in power to misuse their authority without taking action, you become part of the problem. You may think you’re having important discussions behind closed doors, but your inaction reveals a troubling reality.

I can identify those who have served as associate judges and have joined in on the corruption. If you’re unaware of what this means, it’s time for you to educate yourselves. Are you ready to face the truth and acknowledge who has contributed to this corruption? It may be time to name names and hold those accountable who have failed to fulfill their responsibilities. What many don’t understand is that I was sent to Fort Worth on an assignment—not everyone is chosen for a purpose like this. God knew the storm was coming, and He prepared me. Not only did He prepare me, but He also placed His hand on my sons’ lives. Everything that has happened is part of His plan. Every attack, every attempt to destroy us, has only reinforced the calling on my life and theirs.

The enemy didn’t just come for me alone; y’all had to recruit others to try to bring me down. But let me warn you—be careful who you come against, because when God assigns someone, no storm, no system, no scheme can prevail. He equipped me and my sons long before the storm even formed.

You’ve tried to use systems and structures to destroy us, but those same systems are about to be dismantled. 2025 is the year we disrupt the order. The very weapons you formed against us have only pushed us closer to our purpose. God’s protection has been unwavering, His peace unshakable, and His plan undeniable.

You didn’t break me—you propelled me into purpose. Every trial, every attack, has aligned me more closely with the vision God has placed in my heart. We move with purpose, with faith, and with power. And what God has called us to do, no man, no system, no storm can stop.

The time for change is now. What was meant to destroy us has only made us stronger, and we are here to fulfill the assignment.

God never promised that weapons wouldn’t be formed against us—He promised they wouldn’t prosper. And when this storm is over, the only one who will get the glory is my God Almighty.
You know you’ve reached a new level of faith when you can see the blessing and understand God’s purpose right in the middle of your storm. That kind of peace and clarity?

🚨 This is where it all started. 🚨

A broken system, unchecked power, and children’s futures at stake. Alex Kim, still a judge over the 323rd District Court in Tarrant County, has made life-altering decisions without understanding basic mental health conditions like ADHD and psychosis. How can someone so uninformed have the authority to decide what’s best for our children?

When I challenged this system, he threatened to take my kids. He broke federal law by sending my 17-year-old son to county jail, exposing him to unnecessary trauma—all for an alleged offense before his 17th birthday, which by law should have been handled as a juvenile case.

And over what? A burnt piece of carpet. No evidence. No fire squad. No urgency. Police didn’t even come until a week later! Yet my family was thrown into chaos for a minor accusation that wouldn’t hold up under real scrutiny.

But it’s not just my son—these unjust, life-altering decisions disproportionately affect our Black youth. If you can’t read, how can you comprehend a plea deal? How can you knowingly sign your rights away without understanding what’s happening? This system is not designed to protect—it’s designed to exploit and destroy.

And through all of this, I’ve found my purpose. What the enemy thought would destroy me has only driven me into my mission. This fight isn’t just about my family; it’s about justice for every child, every parent, and every community impacted by this broken system.

💔 This is our fight. This is our future. Let’s finish what they thought we wouldn’t start.
