VVW PRESENTS: SWEET SUMMER
FOR EVERY TITLE ON THE WICKED BRAND - 4 ON 4 ANYTHING GOES ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH
Whoever holds the UNDERGROUND, HERITAGE, and WICKED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS at the end of the night vs Aussie Strong Style.
After winning the Battle of New York, Gene "The Dragon" Learmonth waited until the last possible moment to reveal his master plan with the free single match booking right he earned. After learning that Aussie Strong Style's founding member, Paul "The Relentless" Learmonth was ready to return to VVW after a sabbatical, he laid out the terms. At the end of Sweet Summer, all four WICKED brand champions will face the reunited Aussie Strong Style, with the winning team being granted control of all the gold, with Aussie Strong Style allowed to distribute the gold as they see fit if they win. On top of that, he's made it a no holds barred, falls count anywhere elimination match, putting all the champions in jeopardy.
VVW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Ray Shade (c) vs Kelly Valiant
The frontman of The Gatecrashers is currently the only member of the group not holding a championship, and has been making it clear that he will do whatever it takes to rectify that. Shade refuses to make that easy for him though, meeting his challenges head on!
VVW HERITAGE CHAMPIONSHIP - HERITAGE RULES
Rachel Newton (c) vs Archangel
While Archangel has been respectful through this rivalry, just wanting a shot at gold, can someone as eccentric as him truly be trusted when the stakes are high? And how much will be left in the tank for whoever wins, as they still have to take part in the main event after this?
VVW UNDERGROUND CHAMPIONSHIP
Grim (c) vs Braun Strowman
Strowman, the big man, made his debut in VVW in a big way, immediately gunning for the underground champion as he wants to prove himself as a champion! Grim has used the Underground Champion's Choice, uncharacteristically, to make this a standard match, hoping to conserve some energy in case he has to also fight in the main event, should he win!
WILD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - LADDER MATCH
The Gatecrashers (Duke Ventura and Loki Lovecraft)(c) vs The Dream Team (Aiden Hale and Laura Jervis)
After two months, this rivalry will finally see a clear and definitive winner, as VVW Management has insisted upon a Ladder Match stipulation to ensure that we don't get a repeat of the last title match between these teams!
WICKED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Mike and Velvet York (c) vs The Modern Day Gladiators ("Tempest" Marty Townsend and J.J McGregor)
The Yorks have used every underhanded tactic at their disposal so far to keep their hands on the gold, but The Gladiators have shown that they're more than willing to meet them at their own level. It's hard to tell who will win this, and how much they'll have left for the main event!
GRUDGE MATCH - THREE WAY DANCE
Shayna Baszler vs May Paragon vs Ava Moreno
What started out as a rivalry between Shayna and May ended up engulfing Ava, who found herself caught in the crossfire between both women, and refused to be just a stepping stone for either, leading to her being added to this match!
GRUDGE MATCH - HARDCORE RULES
Johnny Rush vs Kamron Drake
After Rush managed to defeat the much larger Drake, Drake was furious, lashing out at Rush, and eventually challenging him to a match, which Rush refused, citing the fact he's already beaten Drake, and has nothing to prove. Drake sought payback, attacking rush in backstage, and threw him off an elevated walkway. Rush has promised now that if he's cleared, he'll show Drake a new level of aggression and beat him again.
GRUDGE MATCH
The Madness (Synyster and "Psycho" Sarah Morgan) vs Gigi Dolin and Shotzi
Shotzi immediately found herself targeted by The Madness on her arrival to VVW, but quickly found backup in the form of Gigi Dolin. The Madness managed to pick up some wins in singles matches, but lost in a tag match, leading to this final match between the teams being signed!
