Best way to start your day?

Stretch, go on a walk, exercise…
Your body will thank you for reducing inflammation, stress and mental clarity.
Have a great Wednesday🫶🏻
Let’s talk about bug sprays! 🦟
*Please note that these options are my personal opinion.
Options depend on age and skin sensitivities of the person.
🦟Babies you want to steer clear of applying chemicals to their skin especially DEET.
🦟Littles I like Badger products because they are essential oil based.
🦟Buzz patches are also a great spray free alternative.
🦟Older kiddos and adults I really enjoy Natrapel.
Here are my recommendations see comments!
Is snow in May ideal? No, no it’s not but instead of complaining I turned my “ugh it’s snowing,” mentality into “it’s snowing!” Getting outside everyday rain, sleet, snow or shine creates resilient, self regulating, healthier and happy children and adults. I challenge you to shift your thoughts about “bad weather” and embrace the seasons because there really isn’t such a thing as bad weather only bad clothes. 🌱Do you embrace this Scandinavian mentality?
I’ll take a day full of sunshine, water and dirt over pretty much anything.
I was just browsing Amazon today to get more sunshirts for the boys and the brand Ruggedbutts is having a big sale!
I also really like UV SKINZ because they offer a onesie option for the littles.
I definitely still put sunscreen on my babes but thankfully with the help of these shirts we have not had either kiddos get a sunburnt.
How about you?
Homegrown goodness 🍅🥒🥦🥕🥬🫑
Gardening is so much more than playing in the dirt. (Although that is one of my favorite parts.)
To me, it teaches import life lessons like patience, how to nurture and care for something, basic botany, flora identification and gratitude - just to name a few.
Do you garden? What’s your favorite fruit or vegetable to grow? Mines cherry tomatoes!
Greek pita bowls! 🍲
Turmeric and bay leaf jasmine rice
Kalamata olives
Cucumber
Tomatoes
Lemon juice
Red onion
Feta
Tzatziki sauce
If I had more time I would’ve thrown in chicken or chickpeas. Serve on pita bread or eat right from bowl!
Who’s words are you carrying with you? Time to let them GO!
Where’s my milk mommas?!
I’m a proud breastfeeding advocate and love to share my journey. Personally I am going on 3 years! My oldest is almost 3 and my youngest is 2 months. These bags are full and collected from just using my haaka (hand pump).🤯
A woman’s body never ceases to amaze me💪🏻
What are you thankful for when it comes to your body?
*No judgment from me if you don’t, can’t or haven’t nursed your little. A fed baby is a happy and healthy baby😘
Do more of what makes you happy.
What makes you slow down, breathe and simply 🐝 happy? See what I did there? 😅
Me? Nature! From hiking to gardening to camping all of it!
What about you?
