My first ever proper game review! Flynn Son Of Crimson! Great Game!

Flynn Son Of Crimson is a beautiful 2d action platformer with metroidvania style elements. It was developed by Studio Thunderhorse and published by Humble Games. Its official release date was September 15, 2021. As of this posting the game is available on all platforms at the following price points(CAD):
PC - $22.79 PS4 - $26.99
XBox - $25.99 Nintendo Switch - $26.59

The Count Of Lucanor is a survival horror, pixel based top down adventure game. Its creator says its an ode to classics like Silent Hill and The Legend Of Zelda. I also get vibes of old PC adventures like Monkey Island and Kings Quest. You play Hans, a child fed up with being poor stole away from home looking for fortune and adventure. Things turn south fast after sharing some wine with a stranger and we ends up in a seemingly haunted castle on a quest for its treasure.

The Count Of Lucanor was developed by Baroque Decay and published by Neon Doctrine. It originally released on May 3, 2016 and is currently available on PC - Steam/Epic (less than $12 CAD), Nintendo Switch($17.99), PS4($19.99) and Xbox One($14.99).

Zodiac DX is a retro style action platformer that perfectly delivers. From the look and feel to the sound design this game absolutely nails the retro design and gameplay they were going for, with modern pleasantries of course. The controls are tight and you wont be suffering from any lag or flashing from too many sprites in screen. I really enjoyed it.

Zodiac DX is based on the Zodiac comic by A. Young. It was published and developed by Foxy Boxy Games and was originally released on July 15, 2021. Its is currently only available on Steam and will run you $3.39 CAD. Well worth it IMO. If you're into retro games you should check this out.

Danger Scavenger is a top down cyber punk, stickin and movin, lootin, twin stick shootin, roguelite-ing, fast as lightning, robot fighting, multi playing bullet hell. I'd say dungeon crawling but your on a roof so its kind of the opposite.

Danger Scavenger was officially released on March 25, 2021. It was developed by Piotr Wolk with Star Drifters and published by Star Drifters with Doyoyo Games. It is available on all platforms.

Deck Hunter is a roguelike deckbuilding RPG. It was first released on May 30, 2019. It is still in early access but is updated regularly. It is being developed and published by I_Draven. As of the time of this recording it is only available on PC. You can find it on Steam for $11.49 CAD but if you act fast you can get it for $5.74 during the Steam Summer Sale (until July 😎.

The Longest Road On Earth is a casual adventure game with an interesting take on using music and song lyrics to tell the story in lieu of traditional text and dialogue. It adds an element of emersion that is unique to the game. Although this is simply a first look its hard to save if this is really a game or more an interactive story but it is certainly interesting and one I will explore more.

The Longest Road On Earth was developed by Brainwash Gang and TLR Games and published by Raw Fury. It was originally released on May 27, 2021 and is currently available on Mac, PC and Android all for under $12 CAD!

Hell Is Other Demons is a twin stick shooter with rouguelike elements and cool stylized visuals that make me feel like I'm playing on a Super Gameboy on steroids. Its fast paced and action packed keeping you engaged as loosing focus even for a second will get you killed.

The game was developed by Cuddle Monster Games and published by Kongregate in April of 2019. It is currently available on the Epic Game Store for $10.99 CAD and on the Nintendo Switch for $12.99 CAD.

Don't Starve is an open world, survival crafting game originally released all the way back in April 2013. Since then it has enjoyed loads of success and spawned bunches of new and expandable content. Developed and published by Klei Entertainment this game is available on all platforms and for under $12 its hard to find a reason not to try it.
